I've got Put Place and a secure spot on Blacknight servers but there's still a need to carve out the time to make those back-ups often.

Been working with a backup for my photography all evening. It seems that even my strormtroopers are backing themselves up.

With sparkles, flowers, and stage lights in her hair, Lucy Gallant (www.lucygallant.com/) looks as etherial as her delicate chimes. Her free-wheeling eclectic music draws on her Burmese, Russian, Irish, and Australian heritage and fuses rock, reggae, soul, latin and folk-pop traditions.

spent the weekend organising and re-rendering all the source clips of an old video project ("walking with angels", a 4 hour video extravaganza a few friends and i were commissioned to do for london's exclusive "sketch" restaurant/bar). including intermediate clips, the whole thing has been taking up over 150GB on my main PC - so backing up to DVD-Rs would have been a tad impractical. i'm now seriously thinking about getting a dual-layer bluray drive, once they come down in price a notch or two...but in the meantime, doing a double backup onto two separate USB drives seems like a sensible enough plan. still, i'm hesitant to remove the files from my main machine...i'd hate for the project files to accidentally disappear forever...
