No visit to Victoria is complete without a trip to the UVic campus to meet the resident rabbits.

Great place to spend a Wednesday night - wine is on for cost + $6.00. Again - not leaning, that's just my crappy temporary camera.

So it was a little claustrophobic in here, but I had to take at least one touristy "look how big the trees are out here!" photo... The next photo will give you a better sense of scale.

Our first stop was Hayne's Lease, the 100th ecological reserve in BC. The cliffs in the background are known as the throne.

Our second stop on the first day of fieldtrips for Botany BC.

I can't remember the name of this reserve...

Looking for interesting plants along the shores of Osoyoos.

The drop from one of the crazy trestles the ENN line crosses - somewhere between Nanaimo and Victoria. Only one more month without my PowerShot - then I'll be able to take photos like this in focus :-)
