provides power and backup to the optical terminal outside the house.

they insist on it being plugged directly into the wall, no extensions.

The first backup on Time Capsule takes a very long time. It was going to take so long that I'd have to leave the computer on overnight.

I decided to move the computer to the dining room, because surprisingly the Time Capsule makes more noise than my iMac when it's operating. I can't sleep with my iMac on so trying to do so with Time Capsule too would be a nightmare. When I got up this morning the backup was complete.

love/hate relationship

i love technology. i love having this little phone to take pictures of flowers. to keep in touch with my loved ones. to make new friends. i really do.

but i hate the worrying about backups and where's my photostream and why won't this work or that work.

so today, after two completely unproductive days at work due to computer problems, i figured it was time to backup my iphone.
