Written in Java this tool uses the flickr API and downloads the highest resolution to save any set or all your photos locally. My only gripe is the lack of set names on the GUI?! It saves them as folder names fine though.
I used to generate a folder for my ipod so i essentially have the best of my flickr account in my pocket.

I had some problems extracting the pkg from the zip, and read others have too, but the java files work fine so i downloaded those instead. Run FlickrBackup.jar when you get them, windows users may need to resort to some buggery to run them. Also those with a few thousand photos may have trouble if they try to do them all in one go.
