I made this card for two challenges with the same theme - Back to School: Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - curtaincallchallenge.blogspot.pt/2013/09/curtain-call-ins...; and CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 114 - cas-ualfridays.blogspot.pt/2013/09/cfc114.html.
I don’t own any stamps for this specific theme, so I thought of making a fun card with the help of papers, die cutting and a well known song increased with a single word that makes all the difference :)
Supplies:
Dies: Memory Box – Parker Lower Alphabet Set.
Coloring: White, green, yellow and pink chalk.
Others: My Mind's Eye - Remarkable 6x6 pad; black cardstock; grid paper and graph paper (for the origami plane, although it doesn’t show in the picture); Papermania brads; fixative spray.

Of course the guys bought stuff on "super sales", so much less than $2400 was spent. The donations were divided among 6 "bear" teachers at different school around Palm Springs.
11 folders, 10 notebooks, 1 binder, 112 crayons, 24 colored pencils, 40 markers, 10 glue sticks, 4 bottles of glue, 58 pencils, 3 backpacks (oops, still need to get one more), 2 lunchboxes, 3 pairs of tennis shoes, 10 red pens, 10 blue pens, 2 highlighters, 4 sharpies, 2 hand sanitizers, 2 disinfecting wipes, 4 boxes of Kleenex, 4 pencil pouches, 200 sheets looseleaf paper, 2 scissors, erasers, socks, underwear, and I won't even mention the clothes!!

We are in the final stages of back-to-school preparation... today is was shoes... four pairs of school shoes and two pairs of cross-trainers (Willow needed both shoes and trainers - she is growing way too fast!)
