An entire hotel staff doing a music video parody of Sir Mix-A-Lot 's 'Baby Got Back,' Katy Perry's 'I Kissed a Girl,' The Pussycat Dolls' 'Don't Cha,' Kid Rock's 'All Summer Long,' and Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here.' This is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. I can't believe whoever shot this got the entire 5 star luxury hotel staff to do this! But it is so funny you absolutely have to see it! Went to the Jarrot Mansion today; it’s the oldest masonry building in Illinois. Construction began around 1807. Mr. Jarrot was cheep and didn't pay his workers on time, so they chopped off a horse's head and sealed it in the wall of the foyer, so it would stink up the place. The skull is still there.
They are in the process of restoring it. This is the ball room. At one point, it was used as a school.
On a side note... what's up with the number of views on my day 53 photo? Is it because I put "rubber boots" as a tag? Not that I'm complaining...

mac does this thing. this weird weird thing. he plays with his ball- play play play, swim swim swim, normal dog like. then he does this weird thing where he is obsessed with taking his toy back to the car and killing it. he MUST TAKE IT BACK to the car this instant. this is my view of him while he is in "take it back to car now" mode. he was in this mode for a good 10 minutes while i patiently waited for his buddy booker to finish playing and he not-so-patiently waited.
(yes, he is on a leash, no you can't see it. it's in the grass, or something. i'm not fancy enough to have photoshopped it out. see the second ugly collar he's wearing above his first, normal collar? that's the collar that is perma-attached to his longline. it's on there, i swear.)

We used to have the solid purple ones; then my Dad decided that they needed to die. Now the white and purple ones have taken over with a vengeance.
Tonight, we went out for dinner to celebrate my dad's birthday. To avoid all the St. Patrick's Day celebrators, we went to a Mexican restaurant, where we were serenaded by a mariachi band. However, the St. Patty's celebrators invaded the Mexican restaurant too. I guess there is no escaping drunks wearing green plastic bowler hats and feather boas.
