In Nairobi, Kenya, just look up and this is what you see Storks have move into the city.

The locals call them the clean up committee. They will eat just about anything.

This time of year their nests are full of white fully chicks

There was only one baby Barn Swallow in the nest, which was located under the restroom eave at Moraine State Park, Pennsylvania.

Where were his brothers and sisters? They may have already fledged, since this one looks almost ready to leave the nest, or they may have met an unhappy fate.

One of the four baby fox... Backlit at sunset, photo was taken handhold...

Ilya told me in the comment from previous photo, he just came back from there, he learned from other visitors that the mom was killed by a coyote some time ago, very sad. Actually it is the dad who is taking care of the pups...

Blanket flowers are long lived and vibrant flowers. This year these plants have been exploding with new growth. Once I started looking at the various photographs I've taken during their stages of development, I decided that this little blossom was still quite a baby flower. Perhaps that is why gardening shops are called nurseries.

The front bunny arrived on my property early last summer to graze in the meadow and soon began hunting for seeds by the birdfeeder. The squirrels always chased him away until he learned how to stand up to them. The second baby arrived six weeks later and kept trying to be friends, but the original bunny took a page from the squirrels and acted aggressively. This is the magic moment when they finally bonded and became companions.

Special photo - not one but two elephants with raised trunks. The upward-trunked elephant is considered a positive omen, and it is often associated with blessings and good luck to those who encounter it. Kruger National Park - as rain was approaching.

An elephant averagely is pregnant every 5 years, and the calf will stay in the womb for about 22 months or almost 2 years, so if we calculate it right, averagely again, she can have 6 babies in her lifetime.

Some blue babies breath from a floral arrangement I recently received 💙

Resting on a Pickerel Weed leaf. This little frog was less than an inch in length.

Howard County, Maryland

This little baby toad was one of many crossing a grassy path..I nearly stepped on them and just saw them in time. I've no idea where they were heading as the pool (opposite direction) was quite a distance away, down a steep hill. Quite a journey for these youngsters, leaving 'home' for the first time, I hope they all made it to their destination and survived, such a perilous journey to undertake - there is safety in numbers, I hope! :)

Enjoy this beautiful sunny Wednesday :)

Peeking through a bush i see a Fledgling Stonechat :-)

Took this picture and moved on as the parents were nearby. Always give birds distance this time of the year as they struggle to rear their young

This baby newt is about two months old and nearly two inches long. It’s evolving out of the larval stage, where they look much like tiny fish with spindly arms, and now has a body more closely resembling adults, with spots and fully developed limbs.

The baby is still breathing through very visible gills – the feathery appendages at the back of its head. Within a couple of months they’ll disappear and the juvenile newt will begin breathing through its skin.

The red background is caused by leaves forming a substrate beneath the water. The patches of blue are reflections of sky penetrating the canopy.

I have special affection for babies of all species born on my North Carolina property, and pray they successfully survive the gauntlet of predators to become adults.

This curious baby fox came out while moma was out getting food. Having a den in the middle of a town must be very interesting for these pups.

I am having babies fever and can't wait for the animal babies to start appearing. This is a baby Pika and while one probably would not see these until summer I can't wait for the spring babies either.

This rose will grow up to be creamy white! Sometimes there are both colours at the end of one stem - then it is really beautiful! Sadly the paler ones were spoilt by the rain -I must wait for this one to grow up!

Though of the day:- What a good thing that I didn't take this attitude to my children...
