HMM to all participants!

This store, located at the Herengracht in Amsterdam, specializes in selling buttons and related accessories.

Too bad they did not use buttons instead of a padlock to secure the shop ;-)

For a 360 degrees tour of the shop's interior, you can visit Amsterdamtoer.nl : knopenwinkel

Macro Mondays ............. Theme " Button "

A metallic button from one of my favourite winter shirts......

Thanks for the views, faves and comments, much appreciated .....

Wooden button of my sweater.

These are mini bottles, each 2,5 cm in diameter, glued together, for tiny flowers like daisies. The different colors of the little bottles seemed to be a good start for this week's macro theme. Some light added a bit atmosphere.

Hi Everyone,

After last Sunday's post of an "electrifying pelican" slider, I decided to post a slider that was a little tamer.

The wildflower is a Bachelor Button which I spotted while on my trip. The image was processed in Photoshop Elements 15. My goal was to have it look more like a painting than a photograph.

Happy Sliders Sunday! HSS!

I truly appreciate your views and comments, THANK YOU! Have a marvelous day today!

I was going to post this to Macro Monday but then read it had to be outside, so removing from group pool but decided to leave in my gallery as I was quite pleased with this result and I don't expect there to be another texture week in MM for a while!

I hold a button in my hand...

I'm thinking of the person that wore it on a coat or on a shirt...

I found it on the ground, small and white and round...

I wonder who wore it? where did he go?

A simple thing from long ago...things I will never know.

For #MacroMondays and this week's theme #Card.

Happy Macro Monday!

Thanks for all your faves and comments everyone!

I really appreciate them!

Holding a Moon 🌙 and Stars ⭐️ button. I got a card with 2 of these buttons years ago, but I have never found anything suitable to sew them on. Now I can show this unusual button on Flickr! Happy Macro Monday!

These buttons were found in my Mum's old button tin. When I was a child my Dad was a postman and these buttons fastened the heavy overcoat he used to wear in winter. Those were the days when postmen wore a strict uniform.

Got in even closer today with a 36mm extension tube on my 100mm lens but very shallow dof. I have been enjoying the challenge of shooting moving bees close up and have an abundance of them every morning so I am taking advantage of the opportunity.
