We have not had much rain this summer in spite of the many spectacular clouds. We are in a drought in the South West and especially Arizona. We did finally get some rain in the beginning of July and the end of summer. but was too late to turn the country side green :) I thought for sure with these clouds this day it would rain but it didn't :) This area is normally very green this time of year and spectacular to view. But I enjoyed the ride anyway and the beautiful view and just hope the rain comes back next year. Oh by the way, this is my one thousandth photo I have posted on Flickr since I joined in 2011 :) I wanted to post a photo that I love and would remember this day on so I posted my favorite vehicle of all times, the Jeep Gladiator Mojave in the spectacular White Mountains! The time on Flickr has been very enjoyable with all the friends I have made and made photography so much fun but also amazing how time flies :) Have a wonderful day and keep clicking away :)

Una settimana dopo la visita precedente ci rechiamo nuovamente sulla linea BTI Biel-Täuffelen-Ins per il treno della ghiaia. Fortunatamente, le fotografie vengono ancora scattate al sole e l’unica vittima delle nuvole in avvicinamento è lo Chasseral, che viene nascosto e non troneggia sul Seeland come d’abitudine.
Eine Woche nach unserem letzten Besuch fahren wir erneut für den Schotterzug zur BTI-Linie Biel-Täuffelen-Ins. Zum Glück sind die Fotos noch in der Sonne entstanden und das einzige Opfer der herannahenden Wolken ist der Chasseral, der sich versteckt und nicht wie üblich über dem Seeland aufragt.

La linea BTI Biel - Täuffelen - Ins viene gestita dalla compagnia regione aare seland mobil, che con i propri GTW la percorre a cadenza semioraria/oraria. Seppure da lontano, la linea costeggia il Lago di Bienne, di cui si vede uno scorcio sulla destra. Una doppia trazione mattutina per la città di Bienne è fotografata nel villaggio di Mörigen.
Die Linie BTI Biel - Täuffelen - Ins wird von der Regionalgesellschaft aare seland mobil betrieben, die sie mit ihren GTWs im Halbstunden-/Stundentakt bedient. Die Strecke verläuft, wenn auch aus der Ferne, entlang des Bielersees, den man rechts erahnen kann. Eine morgendliche Doppeltraktion richtung Biel wird bei Mörigen fotografiert.

Oltre al treno della ghiaia, i protagonisti della linea BTI Biel - Täuffelen - Ins sono i GTW rossi della compagnia, che assicurano il traffico passeggeri. Certamente non fanno parte della rosa dei miei mezzi preferiti, però sono comunque un unicum che si trova solo su poche linee a livello nazionale. Ecco quindi il loro momento di gloria su questa pagina, una doppia trazione è fotografata sotto il paese di Täuffelen, dove la linea per perdere qualche metro di altitudine è costretta ad allontanarsi dalla strada principale.
Neben dem Kieszug sind die Stars der BTI-Linie Biel - Täuffelen - Ins die roten GTWs des Unternehmens, die den Personenverkehr befördern. Sie gehören zwar nicht zu meinen Lieblingsfahrzeugen, sind aber dennoch einzigartig und landesweit nur auf wenigen Strecken zu finden. Hier ist also ihre Sternstunde auf dieser Seite, eine Doppeltraktion wird unterhalb des Dorfes Täuffelen fotografiert, wo die Linie gezwungen ist, von der Hauptstrasse abzuweichen, um ein paar Höhenmeter zu verlieren.
