Paradisea (paradise lily) is a European genus of flowering plants in the Asparagus family (Asparagaceae). Paradisea liliastrum (St. Bruno's lily) is a plant from the mountains of southern Europe. Its pure white, trumpet-shaped flowers are quite large with prominent orange anthers, a type of flower you would expect to see in a flower shop rather than in an alpine meadow. I saw it in the Dolomites.

BRUNO: "Because I am suspicious of Scout's Tarzan glue, I decided to take other measures. So Mummy Kat's head, I'm going to sew you back onto the body and then there's this great necklace around your neck! Then no one will notice that I decapitated you on Halloween."

MY HEAD: "This is not a necklace, it's a dog collar!"

BRUNO: "Necklace, chain or collar, where is the difference....? It's definitely mega-trendy! Trust me!"

We had to say goodbye to our dear Bruno on Friday. We are heartbroken, he was the sweetest, most gentle soul. We feel privileged to have been his people for the last three and a half years.

I love this photo of him because it reminds me of how much he loved his comfy new bed. When we adopted him we were told he didn't sleep in a bed, he is happy on the floor. I think all dogs need a bed and their space so we bought him this lovely big plush bed and as you can see he loved it.

We made sure our dear boy had the best possible last day and we have so many wonderful memories.

DULCINEA: "Good, I've heard your request. Are you sure you want to take this step, Bruno? Then I will brew you a little remedy to fulfil your wish."

BRUNO: "I want to finally experience love and that's why I'm taking this step."

DULCINEA: "Bruno, you can go now while I still have to talk to Tomie in private."

The Hague, 17 December 2023. 16 weeks old now.

This rig shot of Bruno's Evo was taken as the sun was setting and I was running out of light. I worked on this shot for a while trying to find what I felt were the right tones and overall feel for the shot, and although it's not perfect I am pretty happy with the outcome. I am still working on the rest of the photos from this shoot but it had been a while since I worked on a rig shot and I am not sure the rest of the set will have the same feel to them so I decided to post this shot up by itself.

this is after the movie but he still likes to hang out in his old room sometimes when the family's noise and chaos become too much 😜

ordered a 3D printed head from the very patient [www.etsy.com/shop/3DPrintedGifting], painted it up (with a lot of trial and error) and more or less the same outfit i had put together for my previous bruno attempts.

Bruno's, 2839 Mission Street, San Francisco, California. Bruno's was an old school Italian supper club until it was bought ten years ago and turned into a nightclub. This picture was taken while it was closed during the 2020 Covid19 lockdowns. They are back open again, but only on Fridays and Saturdays.

This box (including a door on the side) was made by my friend's six year old daughter. He loves it!

Agnes: Okay Dave, I have an announcement to make.

Dave: What's that.

Agnes: I am now officially a Christmas dog!

Dave: Good to know.

Agnes: Yup. Fully festive. This Christmas I will be right in the middle of everything.

Dave: And you think that's a solid plan?

Agnes: It works for Bruno.

Dave: Following in Bruno's plans is not always the best idea.

Agnes: I realize that. But, I really think he knows best with holidays. Being in the middle of everything is great!

Dave: And what exactly does everything involve?

Agnes: Decorating, eating cookies, eating turkey, stealing balls from the Christmas tree, napping in front of the fire, sleeping in when people are on holidays, teasing Bruno that Santa will bring him coal, telling Bruno that he can't eat coal. You know, everything!

Dave: You do realize that in the time to take this photo Bruno has bumped into me repeatedly and even put his tongue in the middle of my ear.

Agnes: Okay, maybe I'll be skipping the Feliz YummyDad.

Dave: You mean Feliz Navidad?

Agnes: Nope. I'm all in for Spanish Christmas too. Feliz YummyDad is what Bruno calls licking your ear. I think I'll skip that. We'll call skipping that my gift to you.

I thought it might be a bit early for Christmas photos, but that's what's going on in our house right now! Only 30 days until Christmas and this year Aggie truly is determined to do everything.

This mesmerizing life-sized blonde, asian-looking terracotta sculpture, entitled "Ema Kok", stands out surreally in an outdoor setting. She wears a red evening gown ( ? 長衫 ) and appears to be an opera singer.

Bruno's Art and Sculpture Garden is in Marysville. Nestled in the foothills of Melbourne’s closest alpine resort are the villages of Marysville, Buxton, Taggerty and Narbethong. Located only 90 minutes drive from Melbourne, Marysville and surrounds is an ideal destination for lovers of nature and the outdoors.

The garden began with just fifteen life sizes terracotta sculptures, today there are over one hundred and fifteen pieces on display and Bruno is still making regular additions. The unique experience of the garden and its wondrous inhabitants attracts thousands of visitors a year. Bruno will always be ready to welcome you and takes great pleasure in being able to share his creations with all visitors that come.

The original and unique artworks of sculptor and painter Bruno Torfs continues to bring joy and inspiration to visitors from all over the world. Amongst the luscious rainforest setting lives a collection of unforgettable characters lovingly hand crafted by Bruno from clay and fired onsite in his kiln. Bruno has created a world rich with fantasy and insightful beauty derived from his imagination and inspired by his intrepid journeys to some the world most intriguing and remote regions.

Unfortunately on the 7th of February 2009 a bushfire raged through the township, decimating everything in its path without mercy and claimed the lives of our friends and neighbours indiscriminately. Bruno was extremely lucky to survive and the rest of the family are safe and well. Bruno's home and art gallery were unfortunately completely destroyed in the blaze.

Bruno's words: "The bushfires deeply touched us all in many ways. It allowed me to see that people had a heart for each other, that when things really got dark, the best in us comes out. We have lost a lot, but life also provides us opportunities to gain a new vision, lots of new friends and a blank canvas to play. In the meantime, nature is already regenerating itself. The green is slowly returning and the rivers are flowing, finding new ways".

BRUNO’S GALLERY & SCULPTURE GARDEN HAS BEEN SELECTED BY "EXPERIENCE OZ" AS BEING PART OF THE VICTORIAN BUCKET LIST - 100 THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU DIE.

We don't eat pizza that often, so this was Bruno's first encounter with the smell of a pizza salmone.

Bruno chose to stay in Marysville to rebuild his home and restore the gardens. BrunoⳠpassion to share his love of art and the story of life with the world has not been damaged by the fires, in fact you would almost say it has been forged anew by the flames that nearly took it all away. Skiing and hiking fun between Upper Austria and Salzburg

Embedded between the breathtaking mountain panorama of Dachstein Glacier, Gosaukamm and the Tennengebirge is the Dachstein West ski and hiking region.

Our mountain railways in Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg transport you to the ski and hiking region Dachstein West. The region offers numerous winter and summer activities - from skiing, ski touring and snowshoeing in winter to climbing, hiking and family adventures in Bruno's mountains in summer.

Enjoy an idyllic, authentic holiday in Dachstein West in the eight places of the region, from Abtenau to Gosau - of course in the Salzkammergut.
