I took this on the way to Watson Falls. It looks a thousand times better than Watson Falls IMHO. Got lucky with the speckled light too. I made a nice big acrylic print for this one and put it right above my toilet. Helps me pee!

**Happie Bokeh Wednesday!**

I decided to get some fresh shots for HBW, so went into the garden and found the grass dew laden...looked soo pretty. What do you think? :)

Inspired by *Karo* - one of my fave bokeh-snapper! =]

After the previous night's uneventful sunset, I was ready to grab a spectacular sunrise. And the two-hour time difference made it easier for me to extract myself from the bed's magnetic field on time. But as you can see, the sunrise turned out to be soft and gentle. As I stood here with my finger glued to the shutter release, I was surprised to see that this park is where the locals walk their dogs. Fortunate dogs! This is a slightly wider view of the previous shot.

Yesterday I noticed a volunteer Milkweed flower out back. It was pretty, lots of green leaves and multi-colored flowers. This morning!!!!! stripped naked by 5-6 Monarch butterfly caterpillars! So cool for me.

In the name of Allah the most beneficent & the most merciful..

Allah in the name of The Most Affectionate, the Merciful.

All praise unto Allah, Lord of all the worlds.

Guide us in the straight path.

The path of those whom You have favoured. Not of those who have earned Your anger and nor of those who have gone astray.

Named for its conspicuous target-shaped eyespots, the common buckeye, Junonia coenia Huber, is one of the most distinctive and readily-identifiable North American butterflies. It inhabits a wide variety of open, sunny landscapes including old fields, roadsides, utility corridors, gardens, parks, yards, fallow agricultural land, scrubs, pine savannas, and weedlots. (entnemdept.ufl.edu) Saw this lovely butterfly in Lake Forest, California!

Wishing everyone a blessed Easter and happy Passover!

那一刻,從觀景窗裡看到的感動無法言喻,

Take nothing but pictures.

Leave nothing but footprints.

Kill nothing but time.

This is another picture with the sunset from January 1rst. Just before I decided to go home. About 3km on foot but was worth the effort.

Thank you for your comments and favs on my previous post. It's in Explore now.

Thrilling Thursday Tampa Bay Beautiful Blessed Stunning Sunset Serenity - IMRAN™

The dogs had kept themselves occupied while I had been in a busy day of calls and meetings as Thursday rolled to a close. We managed to get to the beach in the Symphony Isles community I’m blessed to live in before sunset. As the dogs rolled in the sand, I said a prayer of gratitude. Then we headed home where I also managed to do a livestream. Enjoy this dramatic scene.

Yesterday, I had the utmost pleasure of finally graduating at The University of Sheffield, with a 2:1 Honours MEng in Mechatronic and Robotic Engineering.

First and foremost, I cannot thank my parents enough for their financial support and moral encouragement throughout the eighteen years of being a student, filled with many ups and downs. You have my utmost gratitude and no words I could say could show you how much you mean to me.

Next, my siblings, my truest confidants, and my backbone, who mean the world to me. I love you with all my heart.

My friends, near and far, close comrades and mere acquaintances. It has been an honour to have you in my life, painting the ever-growing mural of friendship one memory at a time. It has truly been a roller coaster and I am thankful you shared this ride with me. And special thanks go to my many lecturers and teachers, whose efforts and tireless dedication have helped craft my very consciousness.

And last, but certainly not least, to Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful, for humbling me with his generosity and blessing me with the opportunities I have seized.

I am truly blessed.

The heating boiler of diesel hydraulic locomotive No. D1010 Western Campaigner is steaming well as she waits to depart from London Paddington with the "Western Requiem Relief" railtour on Sunday 13th February 1977. I didn't record the identity of the Class 31 locomotive at the next platform, or at least I haven't located the notes that might give the answer.

The "Western Requiem" railtour, which would run over the same route the following Sunday, had been so heavily oversubscribed that the organisers were able to fill this extra excursion. The train travelled to Wales via Gloucester and made visits to Treherbert, Merthyr and Aberdare before returning to London.

I have identified at least a couple more shots from this railtour that might be worth sharing, so these may appear in due course. I previously shared this one in April 2012.

August 1, 2021- first night my swifts didn't fly in their nesting place. They started their migration to Africa. I believe i will see them next year!
