...I say nay...September is! For many reasons September is an extremely sad month for me...and it is sooooo gorgeous that it makes me appreciate life and the beauty that I see around me. I am filled with emotion in September, and as i walk in Nature's Beauty, I remember the special people who aren't here to walk and talk with me. BUT they do live on...oh, yes, in my heart, always!

I am always appreciative for my dolly friends...the ones who share their lives with me all the time...in their gorgeous photos...and the ones like Sherri, who re-rooted Holly's hair, and Paula, for this beautiful beret, and Ruth for the gorgeous dress. AND everyone who takes the time to comment on my pictures! I thank you ALL! Hugs!

Italian priest and confidante of the great St. John Bosco, with whom he collaborated in the founding of the Salesians. After the death of St. John, he succeeded him as the General Superior of his congregation, and through his capable guidance, expanded its work around the globe. He was noted for his fatherly care of his spiritual family and his fidelity to the practice of the rule. He died in 1910 and was Beatified in 1972. Please pray for his speedy Canonization.

R&S 879 leads train BL-1 under INT 390 at Pioneer Road in Groveland, NY on the evening of December 8, 2020. The CN unit is headed to AMP in Dansville, NY. The train is on the old DL&W main and will soon swing over onto the old D&MM trackage at Groveland Station. Trains to Dansville are tough to catch, and I only got this because it met the loaded GW-1 at Retsof. It was getting close to sunset when the trains met in Retsof, but I don't mind playing with low light.
