Crashed 24 Jul 2014 enroute OUA-ALG operating flight AH5017 with 116 people on board including 6 crew members. Contact was lost about 50 minutes into the flight, the aircraft crashed about 100km southwest of Gao (Mali).

Une première tranche de logements et de commerces construits par Viliga a été́ livrée en 2021. Et l’arrivée du BHNS a aussi apporté́ davantage de services aux riverains.

Ein letzter Moment der Ruhe am Bahnhof Bonn-Oberkassel: Nur eine Woche vor dem offiziellen Start der umfassenden Generalsanierung der rechten Rheinstrecke zeigt sich die Szenerie in einem ganz besonderen Licht.
Die tiefe, goldene Abendsonne taucht das historische Bahnhofsgebäude und die Gleisanlagen in eine warme, fast nostalgische Atmosphäre, während die Stille kurzzeitig vom rhythmischen Klappern der Güterwagen unterbrochen wird. Im Mittelpunkt steht die 193 623, die hier einen Containerzug durch den Bahnhof zieht. Eisenbahnfreunde erinnern sich wehmütig an diese Zeit zurück: Damals war die Lokomotive noch als auffällige „Sharky“-Lok für Rail Force One im Einsatz – ein echtes Highlight auf der Strecke. Heute präsentiert sie sich leider nur noch im schlichten, einheitlichen Schwarz von Beacon Rail (ehemals MRCE) und hat damit ihren markanten Charakter eingebüßt.
Ein stimmungsvoller Schnappschuss, der einen Betriebszustand festhält, der so bald Geschichte sein wird.
