La BDe 576 049 "Babette" avec la BDe 576 056 "Elisi" sont en charge de transporter du sable depuis la carrière de Gettnau (LU) pour être transformé en macadam chez Viatop AG à Affoltern am Albis (ZH).
Le train Makie s AG n'emprunte pas le chemin le plus court, il descend sur Langenthal, passe par Lenzburg puis Rotkreuz avant de faire un dernier rebroussement à Zug. Il est immortalisé à Muri AG.
Am Fahrsonntag der Emmentalbahn vom 14.06.2026 war für einmal auch der BDe 4/4 201 des VPM im Einsatz. Hier fährt der Triebwagen von Gammenthal her in Sumiswald ein.
