One of my favorite things about the FI-R, and specifically in Diamond Black, is how the light tends to catch just the outer edges and leave the center part of the spokes black. I think I first noticed this on the LFA wheels, and have come to love it.
Did this shoot for Euromedian.net in Austria at the Wörthersee Tour 2011. I think it worked out pretty nice for an one hour shoot.
First shot of an Aventador on my photostream, it has taken me some time to get a proper shot of one of those!

10.52: 261 074-9 brings a short rake of 5 tanks through from the East into the South West Yard the other side of Linden/Fischerhof bahnhof.
261 074-9 is a Gravita 10 BB and was built by Voith (the old MaK) at Kiel and delivered to DB on 28/03/2012 (Works No. L04-10125).
It was 15 months old at the time of the photo.
DB ended up with 100 of these plus 31 of the more powerful 265s (Gravita 15L BBs).
Voith missed out on more DB more orders (possibly because of the problems with the 265s that used to catch on fire a bit too often).
Still, they are about 50 years younger than the other rangierloks DB uses at the moment 😊.
Orders for Hybrid loks are on their way to replace the V60s and V90s and they should all be gone around the mid 2020s.
