Had not been to this spot for quite a while. The track in is quite rough and takes some time despite being about 5 or 6 kms from the highway. A 4WD or AWD is recommended. Also some steep steps down to the shore. I could not take photos from where I used to as the channel from the island to the mainland had water entering from both sides. I have never seen it this way and just another example of the change in shorelines since the recent wet years. Lennards Island in the Beowa National Park Far South Coast Eden NSW. (Formerly Ben Boyd National Park).
The last day before my holiday I paid a final visit to the AWD ( Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen) together with my son...I did not regret it...
After a cloudy and rainy day there were 15 nice minutes in the evening...

Back to the winter days...
Not much snow in the dunes but still a little winter feel...
Good for the deers, it's still possible to find food...

Finally there was a small touch of winter in Holland, so when there was time I tried to go out and pick up the atmosphere, so the next few days I will publish some "Winter" pictures, the weatherforecast for tomorrow is....rain...
