Just a Custom Ultron I threw together. A little MOC as the background. He's supposed to be in his Workshop, creating more versions of himself.

Tribute to the filming that took place in February 2014 for the film Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The Fort of Bard is the headquarters of Hydra, the bitter enemy of the Shield, a place where Baron Von Strucker can count on the collaboration of the super-powered twins Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. The villain's castle where Ultron develops his plan to destroy the planet.
I done something new today and took off the head and made the helmet to be angled that way which is held in with gravity to make it look more realistic :)
This is done exactly like the other Iron Man figures. this time I replaced the lamp holder with with a clip holder to rotate his gun.

Yesterday I went to the Lego Store and got a bunch of awesome sets! I got Gali, Onua, Ezra's Speeder Bike, the Shadow Troopers Battle Pack, AAOU Iron Man VS Ultron, and the AAOU Avengers Hydra Showdown! I also got a free Bionicle Hero Pack! Sadly the Hulkbuster and Batman & Super Angry Kitty Attack sets weren't there, but they gave me a free shipping code, so I'll order those today. :)

Captain Marvel: Had her for a while, but changed the tosro and really liked it.
Captain America: I've been fucking with this design for a while. Was never really a fan of the official head, since it was to blue and the skin was to tan, so I made my own. Using the old hockey player helmet, I painted on the eye holes to the head. The chinstrap was a bitch to make. I tried painting it at first but it didn't look good, so then I tried it without the chinstrap, and it looked awkward. Finally, I tried something a bit more unconventional, and used some fake leather. I thought it looked alright and that's what you're seeing now.
Those of you who have been following me for a long time will know I built a Hulkbuster MOC back in 2015, following the awesome response I decided to tackle the Veronica - Hulkbuster Armour Module. Unfortunately I didn't complete the project back in 2015 therefore I've revisited it this year; you can expect a full reveal tomorrow!

I got the Lego Marvel Hulkbuster and Minecraft The Cave sets fairly recently. I was super excited to finally get The Hulkbuster set after it was sold out when I went to The Lego Store last time. I have a plan to connect the Minecraft First Night, The Cave, and The Farm (Once I get it) sets to make one whole little diorama. I'm also gonna go see Avengers Age Of Ultron tomorrow, as well as get some free comic books for Free Comic Book Day! So...That's pretty much all for now! :)
2015 was a pretty good year for movies, so much so I’m making a fucking list about it. I haven’t actually seen that many movies this year so I’m only doing 5 on each side, and some of the “worst’ movies aren’t that bad, but I needed kindling.
Honorable Mentions
Ex Machina, The Martian, Ant-Man, Kingsmen, Avengers Age Of Ultron, and Anomalisa
#5 Best: Inside out
I’ve said before, we’re in a golden age of animation, and stuff like inside out is why. Smart, funny, heartfelt and really deep in a lot of ways, Inside Out was proof that you don’t be live action to have a real affect on people.
#5 Worst: The Hateful 8
“W-what? You didn’t like this movie?” Yeah, I really didn’t. Technically, this movie was top notch. Fantastic score, great cinematography, but aside from that? God, all the characters were disgusting, I it was way to long, and it just felt like an endurance test on dealing with horrible people. I can’t really fault the movie for having horrible people as its main focus considering it was called the Hateful 8, and If you like it, I totally get it, but it just wasn’t for me.
#4 Best: Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Really, what needs being said about this movie. Technically a love letter the old genre sci-fi films of old, filled to the brim with physical affects and puppets. It had a fantastic cast, with Harrison Ford giving his best performance in years, and newcomers like John Boyega and Daisy Ridley holding their own with veterans of the industry. Overall just a great ride, and tons of fun.
#4 Worst: Jurassic World
I honestly can barely remember this film, which is the worst thing you can say about a dinosaur movie. With an over abundance of CGI, bland characters, and a really dumb plot, there’s very little to say about it.
#3 Best: Mad Max: Fury Road
This movie is fucking awesome. Next.
#3 Worst: Boy And The World
Chances are, you haven’t heard of this one. It was a small Brazilian animated film with no dialog and a minimalist style. Not 5 paragraphs ago I said we’re in a golden age of animation, but shit like this gives that statement doubt. It’s so fucking boring I almost fell asleep multiple times. It takes forever for the main plot to start, and even then I felt no sense of narrative progression. It kept almost starting and almost having stuff happen, but then it just didn’t. Add on to that the fact that for a film with no dialog it only has 1 song on it’s score that’s any good, and it’s the one they put in the damn trailer. And to end it all it just goes into a captain planet PSA about protecting the earth, and art is important, and all this crap, but it’s all so hollow when all this provides is boring shlock. It’s sad, because visually this film is beautiful, but otherwise, crap.
#2 Best: Creed
Confession time: I’m not a Rocky fan. I know, I know, but It just never really grabbed me. I thought the first one was ok, but otherwise, just not interested. That is, not until Creed. Holy shit was this movie fantastic. A film that really explores it’s characters, their motivations and what they really want. On top of that, it’s incredibly made, with one sequence where you’ll wonder how on earth they even managed to shoot it, and just a real thing of beauty in a whole. It was really close between this and my number 1, so absolutely go see this if you haven’t.
#2 Worst: Fant4stic
When I was leaving this movie, people were literally handing out free tickets to see other films. They were literally saying “Hey, sorry about that. Here, go see something else, on the house!” If that doesn’t say it all I don’t know what will. I reviewed this a bit ago, but at this point, this movie just makes me sad. I want these characters to be loved the way I do. plagued with pacing issues, unfinished CGI, baffling decisions that no one in their right mind would ever think is a good idea, and just no idea what it actually wants to be, Fant4stic is fant4shit.
#1 Best: Me, Earl, And The Dying Girl
Sometimes movies hit people at the perfect time in their lives. Sometimes the subject matter is affective in a way that can only really get to someone at that certain time in their lives. Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl was like that for me. I spent this past summer at a film program, learning about shot compositions, showing character relationships through shot design, and just how to be a better film maker. This was a film that showed just how effective all these skills can be, and it stayed with me more then anything else this year. Fantastic cinematography, great script, and an amazing cast, Me Earl, and the Dying Girl was my favorite movie of 2015.
#1 Worst: Spy
You know how some movies just leave nothing with you? This was like that x10. Tired humor, unfunny actors, nothing interesting to say, nothing interesting to show, and just nothing interesting about it in any way. At least fant4stic was just a bizarre train wreck to watch, with Spy, it was so paint by numbers that I can barely remember the plot. I will always appreciate films that try something new. As bad as all these movies above were, this didn’t do anything new. It was nothing. It was such a waist of time and space I not only want my money back, I want my time back. Spy is the worst movie of 2015 by far.
So that was my best movies of 2015 list. I’ll probably piss some people off with having hateful 8 on the list, but hey, if you think that pisses people off, just wait till I watch batman v superman! happy 2016
L-R are by BU, TLG and Penzora.
All great figs but i think the clear winner for me here is the BU version as it's the definitive take on the classic version of the character.
Bear in mind that whilst TLG's version is pad printed, both of the custom versions are digitally printed and don't photograph as well (they both look great in person).
They all have their strengths as the Penzora version was perfectly acceptable until BU's came along and only loses out to the excellent detail and printing. Comparing TLG's version to them is difficult as it's a great LEGO-ised iteration of the awesome movie version but deviates quite a bit from the comics.
Vision is going to be absolutely huge this year as he was awesome in Age of Ultron and appears to be a fan favourite (for those who don't already know him from the comics). If anyone hasn't seen AOU yet, i won't spoil anything but would highly recommend going to see it. Many reviews have been way too harsh for something i consider to be a thoroughly entertaining, albeit rushed spectacle of cinema.
The latest line-up of the Avengers in the MCU, as seen at the end of 'Age of Ultron' (Clockwise from top): The Falcon (custom), The Vision, Scarlet Witch (custom), Black Widow, Captain America and War Machine.
Wing design from Web-Slinger!
So I finally saved enough money to get the LITDH Midge (<3) that I was yearning for, for so long, and I also chanced upon a Made To Move Blue Top doll alongwith it, making it my first (and maybe only) Bambi sculpt doll!
To compliment them, I got a few superhero figures that I had wanted as well, namely Spiderman, Armored Batman, The Incredible Hulk and Thor!
Good Times!
As seen at the end of 'Age of Ultron'.
Decal now posted and can be used as long as you credit me.
Wing design from Web-Slinger!
This is my first Bigfig and it was a nightmare to photograph! As for the concept of the bigfigs I like them. What I don't like is the limitation of the head and legs it really hurts people who want to use them for photography and animations. I also don't like that we got two Hulk's in this wave with the same expressions.
I was originally going to take a picture of it at an angle but he didn't look angry; this looks much powerful, the depth of field really captured the movement of the Hulk as if he's coming right out at you!
