Even the golden leaves of this lovely tree captured at Lanercost Priory in Northumberland, UK several years ago cannot lighten the sadness that I feel today at the news that my favorite nephew has cancer.

Ein aller letztes Aufbäumen des Herbst in den Weinbergen. Die Rebzeilen haben ihre Blätter schon verloren.
Sie ist eine Trinkwassertalsperre und versorge die Stadt Plauen seit über 100 Jahren mit Trinkwasser. Erbaut wurde sie von 1903 bis 1909 und 1910 in Betrieb genommen. die Geigenbachtalsperre ist die zweitälteste Talsperre in Sachsen.
It is a drinking water reservoir and has been supplying the city of Plauen with drinking water for over 100 years. It was built from 1903 to 1909 and put into operation in 1910. the Geigenbach dam is the second oldest dam in Saxony.

Die Göltzschtalbrücke ist ein Brückenbauwerk im sächsischen Vogtlandkreis und die größte Ziegelstein-brücke der Welt. Der Viadukt mit 29 Bögen gilt als Wahrzeichen des Vogtlands und überspannt zweigleisig auf der Bahnstrecke Leipzig–Hof das Tal der Göltzsch zwischen den Orten Mylau und Netzschkau.
The Göltzschtalbrücke is a bridge structure in Saxony Vogtlandkreis/Germany and the largest brick bridge in the world. The Viaduct with 29 arches is considered the symbol of the Vogtland region, spanning two tracks on the Leipzig-Hof railway the Valley of Göltzsch between the towns of Mylau and Netzschkau.
Der Sauteich ist ein kleiner idyllischer Waldsee nahe der Talsperre Muldenberg, im Naturpark Erzgebirge/Vogtland. Seinen Namen bekam er vom Saubach, der das Waldgebiet durchfließt und in der Talsperre Muldenberg gestaut wird.
The Sauteich is a small, idyllic forest lake near the Muldenberg dam in the Ore Mountains/Vogtland Nature Park. It got its name from the Saubach, which flows through the forest area and is dammed in the Muldenberg dam.
