Enjoy the Autumn

September Sunset at the Hücker Moor near Spenge

October waved goodby with sunshine and warm tempereratures and we used the perfect weather for an extended hiking tour on the Wittedindsweg, a crest trail on the Wiehengebirge from Porta Westfalica in the East to the Osnabrück area in the West. Before the sun went down we visited the most interesting spots of the Eastern part of the trail.

Autumn is well and truly here Down Under. The foliage on the plane trees along the streets are turning gold, green, and brown.

I found this autumn many of this specie. It is the "Porcelain fungus" (Oudemansiella mucida) or in Dutch "Porseleinzwam".

I like these mushrooms, because of their shiny top ;-))
