Wie jedes Jahr startet bei uns die Baiersbronn Classic. Ich war seit langem mal wieder mit meiner Spiegelreflexkamera und einem Teleobjektiv unterwegs .. und ja, das ist schon etwas anderes als mit dem iPhone. 😎👍

Der Name Countach (ausgesprochen [kuŋˈtaʧ], kungtatsch) geht auf einen Ausdruck aus dem Piemontesischen Dialekt zurück.
Das orthographisch nicht festgelegte Wort Countach steht für einen Ausruf, der Erstaunen und Bewunderung in sich vereint. In der Literatur kursieren unterschiedliche Interpretationen; zu ihnen gehören „fantastisch“,„Boah!“, „Wahnsinn“ oder „Herrjeh“.
Einigen Quellen zufolge ist Countach ein vulgäres Wort; einzelne übersetzen es mit „geil“. Hierzu wird üblicherweise die Geschichte verbreitet, ein Bertone-Mitarbeiter habe diesen Ausruf getätigt, als er die Sportwagenstudie zum ersten Mal sah. Ein britischer Autor zweifelt das allerdings an und hält sowohl die Geschichte als auch den Begriff Countach selbst für „frei erfunden“.
Als Zusatzbezeichnung verwendete Lamborghini die Buchstaben LP. Sie stehen für longitudinale posteriore („längsgerichtet hinten“) und beziehen sich auf die Position des Motors.

Museo dell'automobile. La Tipo 41 Royale è una lussuosa automobile della Bugatti, in produzione dal 1927 al 1933.Ettore Bugatti progettò tale vettura pensando di venderla solamente a una ristrettissima categoria di persone, in particolare re o principi, quindi l'auto venne immediatamente soprannominata "Royale" o "Golden Bugatti".
Tuttavia non ebbe un gran seguito, anzi per i primi sei anni a partire dal 1927 ne vennero costruite solo sei, delle quali la metà rimase agli stessi Bugatti. Ognuno di questi esemplari era carrozzato con un tipo diverso di carrozzeria. Inoltre, oltre ai sei esemplari ufficialmente realizzati, ve ne fu un settimo che in realtà non era una vera Type 41, ma una replica della Royale Roadster realizzata inizialmente per Armand Esders un magnate della moda vissuto in quegli anni.
La Type 41 era una vettura enorme, in grado di far impallidire le più prestigiose vetture dell'epoca, tra cui le Rolls-Royce. Questo "incrociatore da strada" pesava oltre 2.500 kg con un passo di 4.318 mm e montava un otto cilindri di derivazione aeronautica di 12.763 cm³ di cilindrata. Anni dopo la sua uscita di scena, alcuni dei pochi esemplari di Type 41 prodotti furono acquistati dai fratelli Schlumpf per la loro collezione privata.
Fu per molto tempo l'auto più costosa del mondo. Nel 1991, negli Stati Uniti un esemplare è stato venduto per la cifra considerevole di 8 milioni di dollari.

Der TRM 2000 wurde in zwei Versionen gebaut, die sich äußerlich kaum unterscheiden. Beide Versionen überzeugen durch ihre hervorragende Off-Road-Eigenschaften.
The TRM 2000 was built in two versions that hardly differ from the outside. Both versions impress with their excellent off-road properties.
I've driven lots of Pontiacs throughout the years, although I don't recall driving this beauty before. Pontiac was a General Motors brand that went out of business in April of 2009. Kind of sad I think. I've enjoyed driving them over the years.
