Engaged learning....making PSAs for a Health Class...anything from teens NOT drinking alcholol to teen rape to marijuana use. These students, plus others, are making their own videos, podcasting, etc. The final products will be amazing. The videos will be short and to the point! (April 2, 2012) - This is a room in the high school few people know exists. It is a fun room flowing with creative ideas! Many students start out, all huffy and puffy, because they think it is hard. But then, they get into video editing and want to stay in this recording studio the whole day, once they catch on to what they are doing. They are quick to say they don't need my help after a quick coaching session, but then when they get stuck, it's a call for HELP! I get to figure what they could have possibly done wrong and help them undo their mistakes. In the end, their products are very amazing!

Public spaces have many purposes in social life - they allow people to make sense of the social norms that regulate society, they let people learn to express themselves and learn from the reactions of others, and they let people make certain acts or expressions 'real' by having witnesses acknowledge them.
