From the garden from a few days ago. I have been really busy with school. Had a big test today (well, yesterday), I think I did pretty well, thankfully. Studied a bunch b4 the test and after school, just came home and crashed. Slept for about 4 hrs. Difficult finding time for creativity, but whatever.... school has to be priority.

The Audiotool 808 is a reconfigured clone of the Roland TR-808. The original doesn't have a LCD display and only accepts a pattern length of 16 steps. The Audiotool 808 consists of 201 graphic sprites. 153 of them are used to display the 4 types of knobs. All sprites are drawn and painted with a wacom intuos using photos as reference.

As the large majority of Rohingya refugees only speaks the Rohingya language, they face remarkable communications barriers. They especially experience difficulties in participating in the workshops through which ICMC disseminates information and training on the risks of gender-based violence (GBV) in Kuala Lumpur, the Klang Valley and Penang. ICMC's new audio tool, presented in January in Malaysia, aims at expanding the reach of awareness-raising activities.
