The chapel at Frederiksborg Castle (Danish: Frederiksborg Slot). The castle is a royal castle built in a northern Renaissance style, for the Danish king Christian IV. The main building of the castle was built 1602-1620 (replacing an older structure). For a long time it served as a royal residence.
The castle was almost completely destroyed in a fire 1859, but the chapel survived (along with the audience chamber). The castle was restored, using old plans and drawings to give it its proper look - with generous donations made by J.C. Jabosen (who made a fortune founding the Carlsberg brewery), to turn it into a National Museum, which it still is to this day.
Today he's wearing clothes appropriate for jazz! Flames shoot out the top of the instrument as he plays (you can only see a glimpse in this image) but I was more interested in catching his audience.

Just a techo note. In our endless hunt for methods of making Sl pics pop, we tried the following...
Two versions of the pic. The second has HDR applied to it, preset surrealistic, copied onto the first pic as a second layer. Blending mode soft light, Opacity reduced to 70%. NB you must apply the HDR before copying and pasting. Attempting t create the second layer and then apply HDR will mean that the picture will automatically flatten itself.
To me this adds the depth which is usually absent from SL pics. What do you think?
During the sunset hour, an audience of rocks peacefully rests while watching the clouds dance across the sky. An unchoreographed display, it is none the less exhilarating. With each passing moment the dance of light takes a different form.
In this brief moment, the light arches from island to island, covering most of the sky. Albeit an enthralling period, the audience remains steadfast, in its stoic repose.

Audience interaction is one way of making live performances more interesting, like the Amanda Lee Swingtet performing the works of jazz singer Nat King Cole here. After all, nothing is better than two way communication to keep audiences involved.

Just had a lovely girls weekend away in Amsterdam. We went to see the beautiful Anna Tysgankova dance Tatiana in Onegin with Dutch National Ballet and I wish I’d had this gorgeous outfit from Mimikri to wear that night (though I think some of the older members of the audience might have fainted at the idea of someone wearing a bomber jacket to the ballet!). Checkout the vintage Vedma hair from eXxEsS too – it’s gorgeous, as is the new Maria skin from Glam Affair, available as part of Powder Pack.
A modern dilemma: read the text or enjoy the free, live music? Or perhaps this young man in Barcelona was doing both.

The courtyard at the Gustor festival at the Spituk Gompa monastery in Leh, Ladakh was jam packed with local people and at the peak of the festivities it would have been hard to shoe-horn in even one more person. The audience had spilled over to the roof-top overlooking the courtyard, and to the windows above the courtyard, where these two monks had found a prime place to watch the festivities.
