This is the painted turtle which is common in lake county, When not sun tanning on land they stay near water where they tend to use that as protection and in these protected wetlands they roam free we helped this little guy out of the entrance. I liked experimenting with this assignment. It actually took me quite a few tries to get the "y" correct. I thought I did a good job at making my name readable. I thought I could have chosen a spot that was darker so I wouldn't get any reflection from the lights. Oh, and I go by my middle name Troy, so that's why I decided to use that one, plus it's a lot shorter than trying to spell Raymond.
