Because, sometimes I get bored at work, too.

Actually, I was using my personal camera because I needed some "good" pics for a procedure I was writing. Didn't use this one though.

Paris- Assemblée Nationale

The National Assembly (French: Assemblée nationale) is the lower house of the bicameral French Parliament under the Fifth Republic, the upper house being the Senate (Sénat). The National Assembly's legislators are known as députés.

There are 577 députés, each elected by a single-member constituency (at least one per department) through a two-round system; thus, 289 seats are required for a majority. The president of the National Assembly presides over the body. The officeholder is usually a member of the largest party represented, assisted by vice presidents from across the represented political spectrum. The National Assembly's term is five years; however, the President of France may dissolve the Assembly, thereby calling for new elections, unless it has been dissolved in the preceding twelve months.

Following a tradition started by the first National Assembly during the French Revolution, the left-wing parties sit to the left as seen from the president's seat and the right-wing parties to the right; the seating arrangement thus directly indicates the left–right political spectrum as represented in the Assembly. The official seat of the National Assembly is the Palais Bourbon on the Rive Gauche of the Seine in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. The Assembly also uses other neighboring buildings, including the Immeuble Chaban-Delmas on the Rue de l'Université, Paris. Like most institutions of importance in Paris, it is guarded by Republican Guards.

I wish I could video the EVF and take RAW stills at the same time in the field, Until then, an experiment in doing just that out of 908 frames taken Friday, Jan.19, in Fernald Preserve, OH (11 degree Fahrenheit, wind, light snow). Large flocks of cranes were calling overhead. There were at least 4 harriers taking turns flying around my location. The snow made the image look softer than I would like but still, a terrific outing! I assembled the movie from the shots and inserted a few selected frames as stills, posted before this video. My appologies about the choppiness- it is because I do lift my finger off the shutter sometimes . Hope you enjoy this..

Some pieces of wood, a sawblade and a string.

Okay, that "sawblade" is only a pice of pounded copper wire, because I didn't want to ruin a good jigsaw blade - they'll break sooner or later, and maybe then I can replace it. I actually pondered riveting the blade to the handles, but in the end I glued it.

All of the wood pieces are sawn and filed down freehand from one bigger bord, so there's no right angle or straight line in the whole design.

EN: The library of the French Assemblée Nationale, designed by Jules de Joly in the 1830s and crowned by Delacroix’s ceiling paintings (1838–1847). Recently restored, the space once again reveals the vibrant colors, gilded ornament, and shelves of leather-bound volumes that make it one of the most beautiful libraries in France.

Mono conversion of the 'Collective' image. Changed the crop slightly to emphasise the foreground a little.

I finally got a Hulk and now I can make one of my favourite scenes from the MCU, the bridge scene from Avengers 1.
