A tranquil black-and-white analog photograph capturing a misty rural landscape. The scene evokes a sense of mystery and solitude. Shot on APX 100 / Fomapan film with a Minolta Dynax 700si, the image is unedited, highlighting the timeless beauty of analog photography.

Delighted to present a stunning image I photographed of a Japanese fusion dance at Global Village, Dubai, on August 20, 2025. The picture showcases two dancers in graceful, flowing attire, skillfully managing glowing spheres, set against a lively cosmic backdrop with striking blue, pink, and green neon tones. The composition and lighting beautifully emphasize the cultural blend, offering a captivating visual. This shot captures the event’s dynamic spirit and exceptional artistry.

Artistic framing of a magical and fairytale-like place decorated with textiles, hanging ornaments and local artworks creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The bright light and open space beyond the doorway offers a feeling of evasion in space time, plus the relaxing atmosphere with the cat sleeping on the left side.

Shot from Farsha, a traditional lounge cafe nestled on a cliffside the Um Al-Sid Hill.

Captured with a Minolta Dynax 700si on AgfaPhoto APX 100 film, this black-and-white image presents the Reinhold-Maier-Tower in Boertlingen. The green-and-white striped structure, resembling a lighthouse, is a repurposed nearly 100-year-old pendulum tower of the state water supply, now serving as an observation tower. Standing tall against a textured sky, its bold pattern contrasts with the surrounding landscape. A bare tree frames the right side, adding a touch of quiet solitude, while the adjacent building grounds the scene in a sense of place. The image evokes both clarity and nostalgia, blending architectural precision with an atmospheric stillness.

After my venture into analog photography with the Praktica camera, I picked up a Minolta Dynax 700si for next to nothing. Using APX 100 / Fomapan film, I managed to capture some pleasant shots. The image is completely unedited.

A lone tree stands like a memory etched in the sky, its bare branches spreading into the stillness. The land sleeps beneath a faded winter light, and in the distance, a solitary figure walks—small against the quiet vastness. The horizon is a blur of forgotten time, where earth and sky no longer argue about where one ends.

The Allegory of Fame is a painting by the Dutch Golden Age artist Gerard de Lairesse (1641-1711). Gerard de Lairesse was a renowned painter and art theorist in the 17th century, known for his contributions to Dutch Classicism.

The Allegory of Fame, also known as "Fama", is one of his notable works and depicts the allegorical figure of Fame. In Greek mythology, Fame, also known as Pheme, was the personification of fame and renown. In Roman mythology, she was called Fama.

The painting typically shows a female figure with outstretched wings, symbolizing the widespread reach of her influence and reputation. She is often portrayed with a trumpet or a horn, which she uses to announce the achievements and accomplishments of individuals to the world.

Fame was a popular subject in Renaissance and Baroque art, and artists often depicted her in various poses and contexts to convey different aspects of her influence and power.

In Gerard de Lairesse's version of the Allegory of Fame, he likely imbued the composition with his distinctive style, characterized by a grand and classical aesthetic. His paintings were influenced by classical antiquity, and he was particularly inspired by the works of Italian Renaissance artists, such as Raphael and Michelangelo.

In a world of speed and precision, one photographer finds stillness in the geometry of the scene. The sleek lines of the Porsche Museum intertwine with the silent observer, capturing a moment where architecture and artistry collide. A stairway becomes a stage, a lens a gateway—perspective is everything.

the futuristic arches of the ciudad de las artes y las ciencias stretch endlessly, their lines carving a rhythm into the light. sunlight spills through the high glass panes, slicing shadows across the stark white interior. a lone figure stands silhouetted, camera raised, dwarfed by the grandeur of santiago calatrava’s architectural vision. it's a scene of contrasts: light and dark, human and structure, simplicity and complexity. the stillness of the moment, caught in black and white, feels both timeless and fleeting—valencia’s spirit encapsulated in a single frame.

through the round embrace of shadow, a palm stands like a cathedral spire against the pale sky of palma, while a lone figure drifts beneath its arching leaves, a quiet witness to the poetry of summer’s stillness

a figure ascends into shadow as geometry and reflection collapse into a single plane. shot through the glass facade of the cedoc medical research institute in lisbon, this moment plays with perception, turning a staircase into a graphic meditation on movement, form and light.

We escape reality not to reject it, but to breathe within it. In the rush of obligations and noise, we seek refuge—whether in art, music, nature, or quiet moments that slow time. These escapes offer clarity, untangling thoughts and easing burdens, reminding us that life is more than demands.

Stepping away renews us, giving perspective and space to dream. Reality Escape is the bridge between exhaustion and restoration, where the weight of the world dissolves, if only for a moment. In that pause, we rediscover who we truly are.

a gentle reflection in the water captures this fleeting moment, as the model seems to step into another world. taken in munich’s hofgarten, this photo of lara kreft tells a quiet story, with her thoughts and the autumn light mirrored on the wet ground. the interplay of light, perspective, and high-contrast black and white creates an almost dreamlike scene, as though her reflected half carries the secrets of her mind and surroundings.

somewhere between the glass and the street, between shadow and light, between what is real and what only seems so. a frozen portrait in the gallery window, a woman on the phone, a blurred figure moving through the frame—each one existing in their own dimension, yet somehow entangled. reflections stretch and bend, pulling everything into one scene where past and present, presence and absence dissolve. the sun draws sharp lines, but nothing here is solid. palma shifts in the afternoon light, a city of echoes, of figures appearing and vanishing, a place where reality is only a suggestion.

This photo, simple in its composition—just some clothes hanging on a wall—takes on an unsettling aspect. The clothes almost resemble human figures, descending or hanging, evoking a state of suspension. They reflect the current condition of people: heavy, suspended in a mental, physical, and social void, trapped in a space that is both visible and invisible.

vanessa laughed, the sun was high over plaza mayor. we took a break, had coffee, watched people. then she put on her sunglasses, and i saw the world inside them. a frozen moment, two strangers in the reflection, caught between glass and time. just a game, just a pause. but sometimes, those are the pictures that stay.

This portrait was captured during one of my outdoor sessions – stripped down to the essentials, it tells its own quiet story.

A moment shaped between light and shadow.

No smile, no gaze – just posture, movement, presence.

Hair like flame, held by thought.

A white garment, a symbol of calm.

All embraced by vibrant green – so that only what matters remains.

This textured mixed-media painting captures the vibrant beauty of roses in full bloom. Layers of acrylic and oil paints, combined with various materials like fabric, beads, and paper, create depth and intrigue. The palette ranges from soft lilacs and pinks to striking oranges, set against a dreamy background of muted blue and earthy tones. The intricate details, from the tactile texture of the vase to the delicate embellishments, evoke a sense of elegance and harmony.

A golden autumn leaf rests upon a striking blue textured surface, creating a stunning contrast between warmth and coolness, nature and the artificial. The interplay of light and shadow adds depth and emotion to this minimalist composition.

Life, like Cherry Blossom Spring, is fleeting—each moment a bloom that drifts away too soon. It’s a delicate balance of beauty and impermanence, reminding us that no experience lasts forever, but each one is worth embracing.

We chase dreams, build relationships, and carve paths, often forgetting that life isn’t just about the big moments, but the quiet ones too—the laughter between friends, the way sunlight filters through the trees, the comfort of a familiar song. Much like cherry blossoms, we are ever-changing, ever-growing, our past petals falling away to make room for what’s next.

The lesson is simple but profound: appreciate now. Love, create, take chances. Savor the fleeting joys, because they matter—not despite their impermanence, but because of it.

In the bustling courtyard of Juliet’s House in Verona, Cristina adjusted her camera with practiced precision. Her job was simple—capture fleeting moments of tourists standing on the famous balcony, dreaming of love and legend. The laughter, the hopeful gazes, the whispered lines from Shakespeare—all framed within her lens, all ready to be sold as a keepsake.

She had seen thousands of faces, each one seeking a piece of romance to take home. Some kissed, some posed dramatically, others just stood there, lost in thought. Cristina didn’t judge. Love, real or imagined, was good for business. With a click, another memory was frozen in time, waiting to find its owner.

This image is not generated by artificial intelligence. It is a real photograph, created through a play of reflections — a self-portrait captured using only a mirror and a window. I appear three times within a single frame: once as the photographer, once as a reflection in the glass, and once more in the mirror. Together, these layers form a symbolic triad — the demon, the observer, and the angel — coexisting in one image, in one unmanipulated moment. No digital alterations. Just light, reflection, and truth.
