I have to admit that this night had some of the greatest arora i have ever seen with some amazing startrails also just to make it more beautiful...
Hope you can witness this sometime becouse this is one of natures finest :)

This was one of the nights when the green was more or less smeared all over the sky and no dancing magic. And it was windy and cold. And when I came to better lcoation the clouds wewe more or less all over. - But it was good night with good friends and I am happy with what I got

I leave for a short holiday and the northern light makes an appearance. Fortunately my hubby was home to capeture it on the camera :)
Geplant waren eigentlich ca, 20 km von Hamburg die Perseiden in dieser Nacht zu fotografieren.
Doch dann dieses wunderschöne Nordlicht welches man mit bloßem Auge sehen konnte.
Ich machte dieses Panorama aus acht Aufnahmen.
The plan was actually to photograph the Perseids about 20 km from Hamburg that night.
But then this beautiful Northern Lights which could be seen with the naked eye.
I made this panorama from eight shots.
After a week of cloudy and overcast weather we were eventually treated to an amazing light storm. This was my first time seeing and photographing the northern lights and a memory I will keep forever.

Alabama almost never gets to see this. So I had to get out and get some shots. So cool to see in person.
The Arora Hotel Manchester at the Grade II Listed Princess Buildings, which were built as various textile warehouses and offices in 1860. 18-24 Princess Street, in Manchester, Greater Manchester.
Princess Street is one of the main streets in the city centre of Manchester. It begins at Cross Street and runs approximately eastwards across Mosley Street, Portland Street and Whitworth Street until the point where it continues as Brook Street and eventually joins the A34.
It is not clear whether the street was actually named after a princess and the second part of it once bore the name of David Street. Originally a residential street it became the site of many textile warehouses and large office buildings during the 19th century. Some of these have since been demolished but most have been converted to other uses.
Aurora from last Night 30th Sep 25 at 21.28hrs Only lasted for 5mins! KP6 just a shame there was light cloud softer it, otherwise quite nice.
