In winter, the rice terraces are free from plants, so that the light often reflected in various colors of the sky. When we arrived at the viewpoint pulled fog over the rice fields, but towards the afternoon (as in the picture) the fog lifted .
I think it is a hard work to plant all this fields with rice. With machines may not be working there. The non- water-filled terraces are usually planted with potatoes .
Im Winter sind die Reisterrassen frei von Pflanzen, so dass sich das Licht oft in verschiedenen Farben des Himmels spiegelt. Als wir am Aussichtspunkt ankamen zog Nebel über die Reisfelder, der sich aber zum Nachmittag hin (wie auf dem Bild) lichtete.
Ich denke, es ist ein hartes Stück Arbeit, die vielen Felder mit Reis zu bepflanzen. Mit Maschinen geht dort überhaupt nichts. Die nicht mit Wasser gefüllten Terrassen werden meist mit Kartoffeln bepflanzt.

Strength through Joy", abbreviated KdF) was a state-operated leisure organization in Nazi Germany.[1] It was a part of the German Labour Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront, DAF), the national German labour organization at that time. Set up as a tool to promote the advantages of National Socialism to the people, it had become the world's largest tourism operator by the 1930s.[2]
The KdF was supposed to bridge the class divide by making middle-class leisure activities available to the masses.[3] It also sought to bolster the German tourist industry, something it did successfully up until the outbreak of World War II. By 1934, over two million Germans had participated in a KdF trip; by 1939 the reported numbers lay around 25 million people.[citation needed] With the outbreak of war in 1939, the organization was mothballed, and several projects, such as the Prora holiday resort, were never completed.

Mit der Ausstellung Kausalkonsequenz zeigt die Langen Foundation eine umfassende Einzelausstellung der Künstlerin Alicja Kwade, die zu den wichtigsten bildenden Künstlerinnen ihrer Generation gehört. In intensiver Auseinandersetzung mit der klaren und Kontinuität ausstrahlenden Architektur der Langen Foundation hat die in Berlin lebende Künstlerin für diesen besonderen Ort eine Ausstellung konzipiert, die bis in das weitläufige Gelände hinein wirkt und den Übergang zwischen Innen- und Außen betont. So wird zum ersten Mal die monumentale Treppe in Gänze bespielt und zu einer in beide Richtungen lesbaren Zeitskala. Kwades oftmals raumgreifende Installationen untersuchen Transitions- und Transformationsprozesse, unterschiedliche Daseins-Zustände und hinterfragen immer wieder unsere Wahrnehmung von Realität. Der Mensch als Bezugspunkt wird dabei individuell und auch gesellschaftlich als Teil eines Gesamtgefüges betrachtet.
Die Arbeiten Alicja Kwades basieren auf Konzepten von Raum, Zeit, Wissenschaft und Philosophie. Es sind vornehmlich skulpturale Objekte, öffentliche Installationen im Außenraum, aber auch Video- und Fotografiearbeiten. Eine besondere Bedeutung haben für Kwade pure Materialien wie Gold, Kupfer, Kohle, Stein und Holz, sowie symbolisch aufgeladene Alltagsgegenstände wie Uhren und Lampen als Verweis auf Aspekte von Zeit, Energie und Materie. Sie kombiniert diese elementaren Materialien und kulturell geprägten objets trouvés in ihren konzeptuell-präzisen und immer auch poetisch-magischen Anordnungen. Es gelingt ihr dabei das scheinbar Offensichtliche als trügersich vorzuführen und die Wahrnehmung des Betrachters zu irritieren.

eine Arbeit von Adrian Schiess aus den 90gern...
der spiegelnde, refelktierende fast weiße Boden des Museums hilft hier einen fast nahtlosen Übergang zwischen der schimmernden Kunst und dem Raum zu erreichen, das Spiel der Deckenleuchten faszinierte mich ...
es scheinen große lackierte, rechteckige Holzplatten oder Aludibond) zu sein, die einfach in T-Form in den Pastellfarbtönen von Orange zu Rosa, Blau- Grau- und Schwarztönen gehen, die Gruppe nennt sich Winter und lässt im Raum auf der rechten Seite kaum Platz das Kunstwerk zu umkreisen, da es direkt ans Fenster stößt und der T-Arm in der Mitte des Raum bis zur Wand geht ...
ich bekam direkt Schwierigkeiten mit der Aufsichtsperson, die mich den schmalen Restraum an der wand entlang bist zur Mitte nicht gehen lassen wollte und nur nach meinem Einwand, das ich es gewohnt bin vorsicht eng an millionenschwerer Kundt vorbei zu gehen ohne sie zu beschädigen, ließ er mich widerwillig gewähren ...
was dazu führte, dass ich mich zunächst nicht traute mich und die Kamera richtig auszurichten, zumal er fortfuhr zu remonstrieren, dass ich doch bei Gegenlicht keine Chance hätte ...
aber gerade die Überstrahlung war mein Ziel und die späteren ausgerichteten Bilder gefielen mir nicht so gut, wie dieses erkämpfte erste "provisorische" Foto mit Geschichte ... zumal ich schauen musste, dass die Aufsichtsperson nicht in meinen Kompostionsraum lief ... :-) ...

it seems to be large painted rectangular wooden panels (or Aludibond) that simply go in T-shape in the pastel shades of orange to pink, blue gray and black tones, the group is called Winter and leaves in the room on the right side hardly any space to circle the work of art, because it directly abuts the window and the T-arm in the middle of the room goes to the wall ...
I got directly into trouble with the supervisor, who would not let me walk the narrow rest of the room along the wall to the center, and only after my objection that I am accustomed to walking carefully close to millions of dollars worth of art without damaging it, he reluctantly let me ...
which led to the fact that I did not dare to align myself and the camera correctly, especially since he continued to remonstrate that I would have no chance with backlight ...
but just the overexposure was my goal and the later aligned pictures did not please me as well as this fought for first "provisional" photo with history (with a story) ... especially since I had to look that the supervisor just did not go into my composing space ...

In Krefeld, in den von ihm entworfenen Gebäuden schwärmen heute die Arbeitnehmer von ihren hellen lichtdurchfluteten Arbeitsplätzen....

Arbeit macht frei is a German phrase meaning "work sets you free".
The slogan is known for appearing on the entrance of Auschwitz and other Nazi concentration camps.
The slogan's use was implemented by SS officer Theodor Eicke at Dachau concentration camp and then copied by Rudolf Höss at Auschwitz.
The Auschwitz I sign was made by prisoner-labourers including master blacksmith Jan Liwacz, and features an upside-down B, which has been interpreted as an act of defiance by the prisoners who made it.
