A view of Bridalvail Fall with the Cathedral Rocks in the background. Taken from Tunnelview in the west end of Yosemite Valley.
Cathedral Rocks and Spires form the eastern side of the canyon through which Bridalveil Creek flows. Some people think these rocks, just opposite of El Capitan, are even more impressive than El Capitan!
There are three main summits to Cathedral Rocks dubbed Higher, Middle, and Lower Cathedral Rocks. Adjacent to Higher Cathedral Rock are the Higher and Lower Cathedral Spires (not visible in ths photo), the most impressive spires in all of Yosemite NP. Higher Cathedral Rock is the highpoint of this group.
These rock features were the scene of some of the first serious rock climbing done in the Sierra during the 1930s. All of the main peaks in and around Yosemite Valley were climbed by the 1870s with the exception of the two Cathedral Spires. It would take over 50 years for equipment and technique improvements before these would also be climbed. The first aid climbing in the Sierra was done in 1933-1934 on Higher Cathedral Spire by a Sierra Club party made up of Jules Eichorn, Bestor Robinson, and Richard Leonard. In their first attempt they ran out of what they had supposed was an ample supply of pitons. With a fresh supply ordered from overseas during the winter, they were successful on their second attempt the following spring. Before the era of Big Wall climbing in the late 1950s, Cathedral Rocks saw a great deal of attention and was used to develop techniques that Robbins, Harding and others would then start to apply to Sentinel Rock, Half Dome's NW Face, El Cap, the Leaning Tower, and other Big Wall routes in Yosemite Valley.

I have another release for N21! I've been really into my Genus head lately so i'm releasing a set of eyeshadows and eyebrows that I made for it! Shown on the Baby head.
The soft eyeshadows come in 8 different colours, and the soft eyebrows are hand drawn and fully tintable, although I provided 4 present shades which you can further tint to exactly match your hair!
Eyeshadows apply to eyeshadow layer, eyebrows either apply to eyeshadow or tattoo layer!

This wasn't a shot I imagined taking at all when I set out with Poppy for a walk after work... It was FREEZING, but I took my macro lens, just in case! It wasn't long before the snow started, so I headed back to the car (in case the road to my house became impassable). I saw another dog walker in front of me, so rushed to catch up a bit, before taking this shot, which was then subjected to significant twiddlation (the last thing I did was apply a toned b&w filter in Analog Efex Pro).

Dear ANDORE Customer,
Today, I’m announcing the official closure of the ANDORE brand.
Six years ago, the world of Second Life welcomed a new creative venture — ANDORE. What began as a modest collection of ear & accessories quickly grew into something far greater than I could have ever anticipated. I was genuinely moved by the warmth and enthusiasm with which you embraced my designs. Your support, passion, and love for my creations have meant the world to me.
Throughout the years, I have worked tirelessly to bring you joy through fresh ideas and thoughtful design. However, as time went on, the brand became closely — and almost exclusively — associated with ears. While this recognition is an honor, it has also limited the broader creative vision I hold for the future.
As I observed other brands evolve and diversify, it became clear to me that ANDORE is capable of much more. It is more than just one product or a single aesthetic—it holds the potential to grow, expand, and inspire in new ways. And for that to happen, change is necessary.
It is time for a transformation.
In order to breathe life into something new, we must first let go of the old. For this reason, the ANDORE group will be closed to new members, and the in-world store will be temporarily unavailable. Existing products will be gradually transferred to the Marketplace, and eventually removed from the in-world location.
However, this is not a final farewell. ANDORE is simply stepping away to return renewed—reborn with a fresh identity, a new vision, and reimagined ideas.
As for the beloved ear accessories—fear not. I am excited to announce the creation of a separate brand: LEX.
LEX will carry forward the legacy of ANDORE’s signature ears and jewelry, while expanding into new areas of body customization. The new group for LEX will be available to join free of charge until April 15th, after which a fee will apply. A link to the new group will be included in the post description and shared within the ANDORE group announcements.
I wish to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported ANDORE over the years. Your loyalty, creativity, and enthusiasm have been a constant source of inspiration.
Thank you for being part of this journey—and thank you in advance to those who will join me as I continue this next chapter with LEX.
