iPhone App Switcher concept by Ian Silber

This is an idea I think Apple should implement. If you hold down the Home button for 1-2 seconds, an "app switcher" would appear. The app switcher would have the exact same interface as the page switcher in Mobile Safari. The red "x" button would allow you to close open apps.

If you've ever tried switching back and forth between apps, you know the frustration of having to go back to the home screen, find the app, open it, go back to the home screen, find the other app, open, etc.

This would completely handle it.

So, Apple, wanna get on it?

p.s. I have another idea that I might mock up soon.

I love Ffffound, and scrolling through the pics on the iPhone is a really good experience. Probably wont use the tumblr reblogging feature as I dont really reblog stuff like this. But its a good idea, nonetheless!
