I got the idea from Collin McLaren , thought it would be cool to make my own. I used @Yannick S technique for the cracked glass. Any ideas on how to improve it? I might make a tutorial on that shield if you want! Hope you guys like it!

Finding a focal point was always difficult when your governed by flat landscapes and dangerous weather conditions. Here I've blended two images, one an amazing Mammatus sky we had in Montana and a homestead in the Texas panhandle area

This was the color of the sky in Los Angeles last Monday morning.
There are more than twenty wild fires burning out of control in California, not to mention those in Oregon, Washington State and Utah.
Evacuations are in process in several cities in Los Angeles County. It is getting too close for comfort.

This is my final image from my trip to Iceland. The conclusion - Chasing the light to Kirkjufell.
I had been watching these cloud formations grow/change since 11:00, as I got closer to Kirkjufell / Kirkjufellsfoss at 16:00, they seemed to get even more dramatic.
This is the most dramatic cloud formation that I have ever seen and for it to appear at my last photographic location made for a worthwhile trip.
What a finale to the chase!
Note: I believe that this formation is an acrus/shelf cloud.
