A carpenter bee from my archives. We're having a heat wave all this week as many countries worldwide. Good time to post some older photos. This year I haven't taken photos of insects at all, aside of butterflies and dragonflies.

Carpenter bees (Xylocopa) are amazing native pollinators and are the largest native bees in the US. They're an important part of the ecosystem for several main reasons. These bees pollinate flowers, feed birds, and increase the yield of certain plant species. The damage they do to buildings is annoying, but only just that.

Thanks to everyone who takes the time to view, comment, and fave my photo.

This eagle was trying to eat a crab and was being mercilessly hounded by a pair of crows. The expression on his face seems to say it all.

Jane got out this afternoon and hid from me under my shed for a while. I was able to attract her attention with her favorite toy and then bring her back inside.

She proceeded to run around the house like a possessed cat before she hopped up on the coffee table which she knows is off-limits. She is seen here disagreeing with my instructions to leave the coffee table.

She just had "bad on the brain" today and was acting out like crazy.

A Green Heron gives his best annoyed look at all the commotion around him, the only bird most people could find in the park.

I never suffer from headaches and for some reason the past few days i have its very annoying.

Im not so happy with my self today i was planning on making a phone call about a job I've been putting it off for ages for 2 months at least! and I'm sure that the job isn't there for me anymore but i wanted to call to ask cause you never do know and secondly i want to call because its so hard as an exercise even. but i couldn't do it. i sat with my phone and i couldn't dial..or press what ever..

but i did phone someone back who's been looking for me for ages as well about a course.. so i called her back and a part of me really wants to do the course cause maybe it will help me... (a therapy kinda course) but its with other people in a group!!

How the hell am i suppose to sit with other people in a group!!

so I'm just annoyed with my self so much!

And I'm so exited about the exhibition but the more i think about it i get so nervous i don't want to go to the opening!!

how can i go and have it all be about me!?!?!

thats so embarrassing!!

i know I'm crazy!!

They are so important in landscape photography. Annoys me when there is spectacular cloud cover but no subject and no time.

(p.s. in case it looks odd, his front left paw is facing the window)

Very much appreciated!

I´m too late..the last walnut is gone!

Simcha brings home the field mice he catches from time to time, which is not so much annoying as upsetting - I just feel sorry for the mice! But the cat probably thinks that we should praise him for a good hunt. And he gets annoyed when we take his prey away from him.

Thank you all for visits, favs and comments, it's greatly appreciated!

Another frame. Maybe he's smiling? 😂

Frost on the decking, low morning sun on the fells, and one annoying duck that caused ripples on the glass like finish of Derwent Water.

I'm never sure if swans look annoyed at me, or not. Swans are very beautiful and photogenic, but I always keep them in a respectful distance. Probably, because the swans lack the constant smile, as can be seen with ducks or me. Do you know what I mean ? ;-)

Thanks for viewing, commenting and faves, I appreciate it very much.

They just want to get hit.

I think this Robin and its companion (there were two) were annoyed and particularly at Snugs, my cat. They were making a racket and flying and flitting around and getting very close to me and Snugs. I filled the feeders, shooed Snugs away, got myself a few photos and then left. All this time, they kept up this behaviour and they were brave and seemingly fearless. Still I could not risk my Snugs making a snack out of one of them. I suspect there is a nest nearby and the parents are doing their best despite their obvious lack of self defence against such creatures such as humans and felines.
