Elke maandag rijdt een siroop-goederentrein van Anklam naar Karlsruhe. Deze trein wordt door de EBS gereden en meestal wordt een 155 of een 156 ingezet.
Op 29 maart 2021 was de beurt weer eens aan de 156 002 die hier - op de foto - met DGS 52469 door Bergholz-Rehbrücke komt gereden...
Montags fährt immer ein Sirupzug aus Anklam im hohen Norden nach Karslruhe. Die EBS fährt diesen Zug und setzt dafür Loks der Baureihen 155 und 156 ein.
Am 29. März 2021 hatte die 156 002 mal wieder die Ehre und bei Bergholz-Rehbrücke konnte ich den Zug im feinstem Licht fotografieren...
Every monday a sirup freight train runs from Anklam (in the northeast of Germany) to Karlsruhe. The company EBS is tasked with hauling this train and uses its own class 155 and 156 engines. Mit einem Zug aus der Zuckerfabrik Anklam fährt 155 007 der Erfurter Bahnservice GmbH am 27. April durch Landsberg.
Auf der rechten SEITE befindet sich der Anklamer Ruderklub e.V.
Der Anklamer Ruderklub zählt zurzeit 43 Mitglieder. Davon sind etwa 20 ganzjährig regelmäßig aktiv auf dem Wasser unterwegs. Im Rekordjahr 2022 wurden mit 19 Aktiven auf 576 Fahrten insgesamt 17.978 Vereinskilometer gerudert.
Moddergraben
1948 gab es hier keine Bäume und Sträucher. In dieser Richung konnte man bis zu Pasewalker Strasse sehen, auf der abund zu ein Pferdefuhrwerk fuhr.

The Karnin lifting bridge is the middle part of the Karnin Bridge, a formerly 360 m long railway bridge between the Pomeranian mainland near Kamp and the island of Usedom near Karnin.
Die Hubbrücke Karnin ist der mittlere Teil der Karniner Brücke, einer ehemals etwa 360 m langen Eisenbahnbrücke zwischen dem pommerschen Festland bei Kamp und der Insel Usedom bei Karnin.
IN diesen heiligen HALLEN wurden einst BRIEFMARKEN verkauft, Briefe versandt, GELD gewechselt, PAKETE abgeholt und PÄCKCHEN versandt. Heute werden hier SPEISEN und Getränke serviert.
DER neue BESITZER des Restaurant hat vieles für den Denkmalschutz getan. So auch die SÄULEN und die FLIESEN erinnern an die alte POST
Pulverturm
Der 20 Meter hohe Pulverturm wurde um 1450 als Teil der mittelalterlichen Befestigungsanlage errichtet. Im 19. Jahrhundert diente er auch zeitweise als Sternwarte. 1998 wurde der Pulverturm umfassend saniert.

Fussgängerbrücke
Man sagt, sie ist die längste BRÜCKE, man kann nicht rübergucken und sieht das andere ENDE der BRÜCKE nicht.
Die Hubbrücke Karnin ist der mittlere Teil der Karniner Brücke, einer ehemals etwa 360 m langen Eisenbahnbrücke zwischen dem pommerschen Festland bei Kamp und der Insel Usedom bei Karnin.

This church was mentioned for the first time in 1296, but the beginning of the work on the church dates to the middle of the 13th century. When the building started they were going for the Romanesque style, but when tastes changed (in the Middle Ages), so did the plans for the church. Today it is a quite beautiful Gothic church with the ubiquitous high, slim pillars and vaulting - and a lot of well preserved painted decorations. The building was hit by bombs in the Second World War, but of the interior only the south aisle was more severely damaged.
The church is a so called hall church, in the Gothic style known as brick Gothic.

Montags fährt immer ein Sirupzug aus Anklam im hohen Norden nach Karslruhe. Anschließend geht es mit der SBB Cargo nach Aarberg. In Deutschland fährt die EBS diesen Zug und setzt dafür Loks der Baureihen 155 und 156 ein.
Am 19. April 2021 hatte die 156 002 mal wieder die Ehre, bei Kerzendorf konnte ich den Zug aus der Luft fotografieren...

During the winter season there is a weekly freight train from Anklam to Karlsruhe (I think), that is run by Erfurter Bahnservice (EBS). The train is transporting sugar sirup in tank wagons.
The train is passing the S-Bahn station Bornholmer Strasse - but mind: the bridge is called Bösebrücke :-)
