This was a drawing done from a photo on Flickr that I did after my cousin asked me to draw her as a dog. Actually, she would be a Great Dane or something, but this was a rendition of how she makes me feel, or, if you like, how I would look if I were her dog and she had just come home.

No More Tears is a children’s book about loneliness; it’s based on my own experience. I self-published this book in 2021. Essentially, No More Tears conveys the message that having a genuine passion for something makes you feel less lonely, even if you can’t make friends with your peers.
The reason why this book features so many animals is that my love for them helped me compensate for the lack
of human interactions. I think this coping mechanism may be useful for other kids who are struggling to build relationships.

This pony died a couple of months after I painted it. The owner thanked me in an emotional way for making this ever lasting memory. Although Wendy reached the incredible age of 32 years, one always grieves the loss of a beloved animal and companion.
