New York or Nowhere has established a cult following since its founding during the depths of the pandemic.

Quincy Moore founded the lifestyle brand Knowlita in 2015, and Knowlita sold “New York or Nowhere” shirts. In 2020, Moore formed a company with Liz Eswein called New York or Nowhere (NYON), and in 2022 they opened a store on 250 Lafayette Street in Manhattan.

The saying “It will Always be New York or Nowhere” has been on some products since 2020. “New York Knicks or Nowhere” (in association with the New York Knicks, an NBA basketball team) has been on some products since 2025.

Year of the City, Two Thousand Twenty-Five: Grilled Chicken à la Infusion Center - at The Medical Complex by Newell Reinvention

Upon first receiving my Kemosabe Liquid Sunshine treatments, my start times were around 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and they would always have this delicious grilled chicken for lunch, which came with string beans and rice. Yummy. After my second treatment, they changed my start time to a bit later, which meant I missed lunch. Oh my goodness, I was so upset.

Following each of my treatment sessions, my amazing boss would pick me up and drive me home to my apartment. She had agreed to be my alternate Health Care Proxy (my principal one being my great friend of 35-yeras, now retired from 42-years as a NYC hospital nurse, and living back home in the Philippines). My boss only missed one treatment, as she had been vacationing in Japan. Though another amazing individual, another work colleague, picked me up that time and drove me home. I mean, it was just all so fantastic.

If you ever go through anything like this, just make certain to have a solid support system established before you go through any treatments.

The white coats had assigned me one of their social workers, though the woman called me only once, asked me a bunch of stupid questions, then sent me a message referring me onto an online app titled "Cancer Buddy", which is for cancer patients to connect to other patients. For moral support and companionship. Really? This social worker's customer service/bedside manner felt curt, cold, and dismissive. I had logged onto the app briefly, just to see what it was about, and it was bright yellow and white. Hideous & weird. Now, yellow is a funny color, and it doesn't always mean sunshine and tulips. It can also mean caution. And white isn't always as pure as the driven snow. Color psychology is an extremely interesting subject.

So, the app was like a dating app, but with cancer patients, sharing their stats for other cancer patients to like and share alike. It all felt kind of sad. They should have colored that black & white, it would have been so much better. The "social worker" essentially just brushed me under the carpet and left me to interact amongst strangers on the web. Think about that for a second. This same social worker had looked straight at me while I was in the waiting room of the Infusion Center, and she had no idea who I was. Perhaps it would be best to add "Anti" to the front of her title.

Luckily, I had already established my support team prior to having received any treatments. And it really did make such a difference, as I felt more confident going in.

I never understood this pricey restaurant situated in the middle of Central Park, NYC. Here people sip expensive cocktails along the water's edge or dine on the finest cuisine; host elaborate Page Six worthy weddings with resplendent receptions or attend art exhibits, all the while, steps away, in the adjacent woodland known as The Rambles, men are having anonymous sex with each other. It's all so bizarre and awesome.

After 40 years in business the Neptune Diner located in Astoria, Queens, NYC served its last meal on Sunday, July 29th. The owners claim they were not given a chance to renew their lease, because the property will soon be turned into a residential building.

Since 1983, The Katsihtis brothers have owned the building on Astoria Boulevard but not the land, which was sold in 2018 for over $10 million.

The brothers also had a 35-year lease which expired in 2019. But since then, they were not able to come to a long-term agreement with the landlord.

But that's what Long Island City/Astoria needs is another apartment building. It's already so overbuilt, it's ridiculous. Yet they keep tearing them down and building new ones, many of which are luxury rentals. The neighborhood is losing its character to concrete

Radio Flyer is an American toy company best known for its popular red toy wagon. Radio Flyer also produces scooters, tricycles, bicycles, horses, and ride-ons. The company was founded in 1917 and is based in Chicago, Illinois.

Antonio Pasin immigrated to the United States from Italy in 1914 when he was 16 years old.He started building wooden toy wagons in Chicago in 1917, selling them to area shops. He was working as a craftsman at the time, mostly selling phonograph cabinets, and built small wooden wagons to carry around his tools. After he received numerous requests from customers of phonograph cabinets to buy the wagons as well, he refocused his business on the wagons. His business grew until the Liberty Coaster Company, named in honour of the Statue of Liberty, was formed in 1923. The demands for these original wooden wagons, dubbed the "Liberty Coaster," quickly outpaced production. Incorporating the mass manufacturing techniques of the auto industry, Pasin began making metal wagons out of stamped steel in 1927. At around that time, the red wagons sold for slightly less than $3, or about $40 in 2016 dollars.
