Always a great walk with fine views. I have three walks which takes me along this coastline. The shortest is about 5 miles the medium walk is in the region of 9 miles and the longest is about 15 + miles.
" When everything lies in disguise
How could I ever forget?
Those eyes looking for my weal
How could I ever know more?
When everything is held by threat
How could I ever feel you?
Once again, without losing my mind
Oh empty note
Shadows of my past
Made it to the end
Oh empty note
Shadows of my past
Made it to the end
How could I ever know you?
When you are miles and miles away
How could I forgive myself?
How blind and scared I was
Oh empty note.. "

Understand and enjoy the fact that photography is a unique medium. Respect and work within photography’s limitations, you will go much further.

It feels like forever since I've been on Flickr and have missed all of you. I feel like I am finally on the road to recovery. It will take some time for me to get back to commenting on everyone's images - so you may just get faves for a bit. So happy to be back!

Nature always gives us some amazing moments to capture and share and I was just lucky to get a few shots of the Meyer's parrot in a tree. In a blink of an eye this small African parrot colourful display was over.

Schleiereule (Tyto alba) - White barn owl
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barn_owl
The barn owl (Tyto alba) is the most widely distributed species of owl and one of the most widespread of all birds. It is also referred to as the common barn owl, to distinguish it from other species in its family, Tytonidae, which forms one of the two main lineages of living owls, the other being the typical owls (Strigidae). The barn owl is found almost everywhere in the world except polar and desert regions, in Asia north of the Himalaya, most of Indonesia, and some Pacific islands.[2]
One of my favourite little models from a few years back.
Many thanks for all the kind comments and faves on my images; they are very much appreciated :)
The first year we went to Etosha we spent a month there becoming familiar with it's incredible beauty. In that month we only saw the lilac breasted roller twice . It was difficult to find and there just were not many but over the past eight years we have seen them numerous times and this year they were in abundance. I love them and found it very hard to pass one by . As a result of this I have several images this year. Each is a little different . The first year we never saw clouds but this year there were clouds every day. You can seen them in this image of the roller.
Wishing you a lovely and blessed evening. Many thanks to you all for your great support and encouraging comments !!
