Always a great walk with fine views. I have three walks which takes me along this coastline. The shortest is about 5 miles the medium walk is in the region of 9 miles and the longest is about 15 + miles.

Three Grizzly Bear cubs of the year (COY) are never too far behind mom.

Understand and enjoy the fact that photography is a unique medium. Respect and work within photography’s limitations, you will go much further.

I saw a flock of Cockatoos on the way to the Botanical Gardens.

They were hunting for bulbs on the lawn next to the side of the road.

I sat and watch them for a while and this one came quite close to me. It then picked up a daisy flower and I clicked when it is looking at me.

Many thanks for your visit, comments, invites and faves...it is always appreciated.

Schleiereule (Tyto alba) - White barn owl

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barn_owl

The barn owl (Tyto alba) is the most widely distributed species of owl and one of the most widespread of all birds. It is also referred to as the common barn owl, to distinguish it from other species in its family, Tytonidae, which forms one of the two main lineages of living owls, the other being the typical owls (Strigidae). The barn owl is found almost everywhere in the world except polar and desert regions, in Asia north of the Himalaya, most of Indonesia, and some Pacific islands.[2]

In recent years the village of Cabras in Sardignia become knowen after the discovery of ancient giant statues - the giants of Monte Prama.

For me, it were these bridges that caught my eye from the very first day. Some, we can't cross anymore because there are woods missing. This one I did.

I bet the giants did too.

It is always exciting to take a once-in-a-lifetime chance. Taking photographs of comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) was such a thing. The weather forecast was looking excellent. So, I charged the battery packs, loaded my gear into the car and got up early. Very early. As Neowise has passed our home star a few days ago, it can only be observed shortly before sunrise. The results show the comet above the soft hills of nature park Stromberg-Heuchelberg. The city lights in the foreground belong to Illingen. In ten days from now Neowise will safely pass earth within a distance of about 100 Mio. km. By this time, it will have lost much of its actual brightness. But it will be back - in approx. 6766 years from now. Good luck, Neowise! Good luck, planet earth!

The doctor told me to drink more while running...

but my ice always fell out of my Martini drink...

so now I'll drink it in a bottle....

The only one with a problem now is my dog.....

Not because of the bottle...but he prefers a glass.
