長龍臥波三仙台
三仙台位於台東縣成功鎮東北方，為台灣東部知名的觀光景點，地形上為火山岩所構成，最早為岬角地形，因海水侵蝕而成為離岸小島，島上有三座小山峰，傳說八仙中的呂洞賓、李鐵拐、何仙姑曾登臨此島而得名，目前被列為被列為自然保護區。
三仙台和本島之間由八拱大橋所連接，因岩石受風化及海蝕作用，產生海蝕溝、海蝕柱、海蝕凹壁等地形。從橋墩上跨海而過，再循棧道環島一週，可一覽其中的合歡洞、蝙蝠洞、仙劍峽等景觀，碧海白浪，珊瑚礁岩，於巨蛟般橋樑上觀賞浪濤奇岩的海濱氣勢。

I recently bought a Kodak esp 1.2 All-in-One Inkjet Printer to replace my ancient HP Deskjet 5150 and thought I'd have a go at printing off some of my photos - not something I've ever bothered doing before. There's a bewildering choice of photo papers on the market, but the budget Inkrite PhotoPlus Professional Paper got good reviews on Amazon, and so I thought I'd give it a go, along with Kodak Premium Paper for comparison purposes. The costs at Amazon prices were about 4.3p/sheet and 10.8p/sheet respectively for the small quantities purchased.
I was half-expecting to have to get my magnifying glass out to see the difference in print quality, but it was immediately obvious how inferior the cheaper paper was: in addition to the relatively washed-out appearance, there were black blotches in the darker areas.
As the Kodak printer also has an integral scanner, I scanned the two prints of my first test photo (at 600 dpi) and without any editing produced the above composite image (best viewed large). I repeated the process with a second photo - this time a landscape shot - and again the discrepancy in quality was immediately apparent.
I guess you get what you pay for...

I will use this board together with the Seeduino Mega controller I purchased a while ago already. The firmware will likely be MultiWii, as it already supports this IMU. This will replace my current setup (ArduIMU+ v2 flat with a home-grown firmware).
Kiddo playing in the fountain that shoots up out of the sidewalk near the Boston Waterfront area. Edited with help from K. Lane's All-in-one black and white action (which I haven't really mastered yet at all). Once I get more proficient with PS, I'm sure I could make this look a lot better.

The JTAG-HS3 is the newest member of our family of affordable high-speed Xilinx® FPGA programming solutions. The HS3 builds on the successful JTAG-HS1 by adding an open-drain buffer to pin 14 allowing for the debugging of Xilinx Zynq-SOC processors. It can be attached to target boards using Xilinx's 2x7 connector*, and is compatible with all Xilinx tools, including iMPACT™, ChipScope™, and EDK.
When connected to a PC via a standard A to micro-USB cable, the JTAG HS3 receives its power from USB and can be recognized as a Digilent programming cable, even if the HS3 is not attached to the target board. The JTAG bus can be shared with other devices as the HS3's signals are held in high-impedance, except when actively driven during programming. The HS3 is small and light, allowing it to be held firmly in place by the system board connector.
The in the past week I've been scanning old photos in preparation for for my Nanna's 80th birthday in January. This is my set up before it got even messier, in front of the scanner now, there's photo albums that are waiting to be scanned.
My scanner is also part of an All-in-One combo. Has been pretty handy to have.
