Richland Brownlee Panfish Fishing Tournament
Brownlee Reservoir is the largest of the three reservoirs along the Hells Canyon area of the Snake River and is 57 miles in length stretching from the towns of Oxbow Oregon to Huntington Oregon. It is long and quite narrow and shorelines tend to be steep and rocky. Brownlee Reservoir is one of the best warm water fisheries in the NW.
On the second Saturday of June each year the small town of Richland hosts the annual Panfish Fishing Tournament at Baker County’s Hewitt Holcomb Park located along the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway on the banks the Brownlee Reservoir in Richland. and hundreds of people turnout out to celebrate the great fishing and abundant Crappie to be caught in Brownlee. The annual festival also coincides with the state of Oregon’s Free Fishing Day so no license is needed even for out of state anglers
There are numerous access points to the reservoir throughout Baker County on the Oregon side including, Idaho Power's Copperfield Park at Oxbow, Baker County's Hewitt Holcomb Park in Richland, Farewell Bend State park near Huntington, and the BLM managed, Spring Recreation Site also just outside of Huntington

Georg Weifert was born in Pančevo, German Banat to a Danube Swabian family. From an early age Đorđe Vajfert worked with his father, Ignatz Weifert in Belgrade, in brewing. Theirs was the first brewery in the Kingdom of Serbia. He graduated from the Braumeisterschule in Weihenstephan, near Munich. Then he returned to Serbia and took over the brewery of his father, which he expanded. With the profits he bought a coal mine in Kostolac, then a copper mine in Bor, a Steinberg works at Zaječar and finally a gold mine. With the proceeds from the mines, he was the richest man in Serbia and was considered the greatest industrialist of the future Yugoslavia.
In 1890 Vajfert was appointed Governor of the National Bank of Serbia. He served in this capacity from 1890 to 1902, and again from 1912 to 1914/1918.During this period he acquired a good reputation maintaining the value of the Serbian dinar and in credit. After 1918, because of his good offices, Vajfert was appointed Governor of the National Bank of Yugoslavia. His best-known arrangement as Governor was the conversion of the Austro-Hungarian krone into the new Yugoslav dinar. This also led to great criticism, as the former Serbian dinar was exchanged 1:1 in the new dinar, the Austrian money into a 4:1 ratio - this led to substantial losses of property of those Yugoslavs who formerly lived in Austria-Hungary.
Đorđe Vajfert was an important patron and supporter of humanitarian and cultural institutions. He donated his prized collection of ancient coins and his private library to the University of Belgrade. In Pančevo, from where his parents Ignatz and Anna originated, he left the Roman Catholic Church a small chapel known as Anina crkva (the Church of Anna), in memory of his mother.
As a major benefactor, opened a large Catholic cemetery Pancevo, where they are still the remains of family members Vajfert. They also built a fund from your Pancevo St. Anne Catholic Church and many other public and charitable institutions.
He died on 12 January 1937, at 17:20 pm at his villa in Belgrade. The funeral service was held in the Catholic Church of St. Anne Pancevo 14 January, and the 15th was buried in the Catholic cemetery Pančevo. The heir to his business empire was his nephew Ferdinand Gramberg. Since 2001, his portrait is depicted on the 1000 Serbian dinar note.

Not sold on the color choice for the new all-access path down to the beach. I would have chosen something a little more in tune with the natural surroundings... but who knows what drives these decisions... maybe Christo was involved.

This was probably one of the most random adventures I've ever taken.
1. Picked up Devin's (Emery) wallet from Sheetz
2. Hand delivered it to him at the show
3. He introduces us to the tour head manager
4. The head tour manager gives us All-Access passes
5. Devin offers to give us free merch for our deeds
6. We got hooked up!!!!

So tonight I assisted Kenji at a charity fund raising. We were both working directly for Alex Rodriguez and it was ALL ACCESS. This is the first of many photos to come. I am also exhausted right now. Tomorrow i will rewrite this so it makes more sense. BTW, Jay Z is a very nice person and so is Alex. Alex is also very handsome in peron.

most of you by now probably know that my friend james works for The Warner Music Group. that being said...he has all access to anything and everything music.
last night i decided to tag along to the HIM concert. I knew it'd be a freak show with all the little vampire wanna be's. but to be very honest i completely dig the band. the singer has an amazingly seductive, sexy voice that has awesome range and the band really kicks a$$.
it was at the electric factory which is pretty much a big old crap hole warehouse in philly that even the best bands usually sound like hell in...
but not them.
i was blown away and the smile just about cracked my face as i got to stand backstage and watch from where no one else did.
unfortunately i didn't want to bring my camera...not even a purse or cell phone. the less you tote into philly the better ;)
but i did get to meet them all and i must say they were pretty soft spoken ...even bashful...untill they hit that floor and tore it to shreds.
and ...whew...the singer is easy on the eyes :)
I was thrilled to pieces when the second song they did was a cover of Chris Isaak's Wicked Game...one of my all time faves.
I actually found it on utube.
