The history is partly written on the building itself: Established 1899. Once the home of silent movies in Beaconsfield. I'm glad to say the building is now occupied with shops and has a fresh coat of paint. Signs of more life in the old girl yet.

I went shooting with three wonderful photographers today and had loads of fun photographing this beautiful lady! Her name is Alicia and she is gorgeous and so sweet and is now a new friend!
This is my first attempt at free-lensing! It was fun.

Una mañana de comienzos de verano. Hace calor, un calor algo pegajoso, soporífero, de novela negra. No tengo ganas de trabajar. Tomo la cámara y disparo. La imagen es una distorsión de la realidad. Pienso en el espejo. De niño me habría gustado colarme al otro lado, como Alicia, como los niños de Narnia, como los niños perdidos amigos de Peter Pan... Ahora sé que los otros mundos están en éste, como dice el poeta. Sólo hay que saber encontrarlos.
Esta foto, hecha para el despiste, se la dedico a esa buena persona y excelente fotógrafo, llamado Joserri, un tipo que está al otro lado y con el que se puede contar.
