There I was managing my business when suddenly Antony flung open the door, flashed his towel at me to declare he had lost his identity and needed my assistance to find it.
I stared at Antony like he had gone colour blind realizing his trunks didn't match the crocs. I politely advised him that his identity shouldn't be too hard to find, that it was likely somewhere with his socks and keys.
Hearing a growl from beside me, I looked down at Flash and told him patience the Crocs aren't yours (yet, as I know Antony has a million others to replace it if you did chew one)...
Lesson learned... Laughter cures all.

The German Chancellery (German: Bundeskanzleramt, more faithfully translated as Federal Chancellery) is an agency serving the executive office of the Chancellor of Germany, the head of the federal government, currently Angela Merkel.
Opened in the spring of 2001, the current Chancellery building was designed by Charlotte Frank and Axel Schultes and was built by a joint venture of Royal BAM Group's subsidiary Wayss & Freytag and the Spanish Acciona. Occupying 12,000 square meters (129,166 square feet), it is also the largest government headquarters building in the world. By comparison, the new Chancellery building is ten times the size of the White House.
Because of its distinctive but controversial architecture, journalists, tourist guides and some locals refer to the buildings as Bundeswaschmaschine (federal laundry machine, because of the round-shaped windows and its cubic form).

Februar 1997 nach knapp vierjähriger Bauzeit am 2. Mai 2001 vom damaligen Bundeskanzler Gerhard Schröder bezogen werden, wodurch der Regierungsumzug nach Berlin abgeschlossen wurde. Das bebaute Grundstück ist mit Hubschrauberlandeplatz und Kanzlerpark rund 73.000 m² groß. Mit einer Höhe von 36 Metern übertrifft das Gebäude die Berliner Traufhöhe von 22 Metern und ist das größte Regierungshauptquartier der Welt. Es ist rund achtmal so groß wie das Weiße Haus in Washington, zu dem allerdings noch weitere Gebäude gehören.
Vorwiegend von Touristenführern und Journalisten, aber auch im Berliner Volksmund wird das Bundeskanzleramt als Waschmaschine, und seltener als Bundeswaschmaschine oder Kanzlerwaschmaschine bezeichnet.

Het ‘Minangkabause Huis’ of Naco-gebouwtje werd in 1919 door G.F. La Croix (1877-1923) ontworpen als kantoor en aanlegsteiger voor de voormalige rederij Koppe. Van 1960 tot 2004 was het in gebruik als kantoor van de scheepvaartafdeling van de NACO, de Noordhollandsche AutoCar Onderneming.
Om gewicht te besparen en geen ruimte op de steiger te verspelen, koos de architect voor een houten gebouw op palen. In tegenstelling tot wat de naam doet vermoeden lijkt de vorm van dit gebouw eerder geïnspireerd op de bouwkunst van de Batakkers die rond het Tobameer wonen, dan op die van de Minangkabauwers, een andere Sumatraanse stam. Duidelijk is in ieder geval de invloed van de traditionele Indische architectuur, hoewel ook de invloed van houten huizen op Marken zichtbaar is. Marken was een van de bestemmingen van de rederij, en La Croix was betrokken bij de wederopbouw van het eiland na de overstroming van 1916.
Het gebouwtje werd in 2004 tijdelijk verplaatst naar Zaanstad i.v.m. de bouw van het nieuwe busstation bij CS. Stadsherstel nam het pand in 2016 over van busmaatschappij Connexxion (voortgekomen uit o.a. de Naco). Het is op een werf opgeknapt, en eind 2021 teruggeplaatst aan de kade. Het staat sindsdien bij de Oostertoegang.

812 Wharf Street – Tourism Victoria Visitor Centre
This Art Deco building at 812 Wharf Street, at the intersection of Government Street and Wharf Street, across from the Empress Hotel, is now the Tourism Victoria Visitor Centre.
This building was originally built in 1931 by the Vancouver architectural firm of Townley and Matheson – [Fred Laughton Townley (1887-1966) and Robert Michael Matheson (1887-1935)] – as a service station for Imperial Oil. It is an historically significant building, placed on Canada’s Register of Historic Places in 1986.
The building’s tower featured a 10 million candle power Sperry Beacon, intended as a navigational aid for float planes approaching Victoria’s Inner Harbour at night, which could seen up to 100 kilometers (60 miles) away. The Sperry Beacon is still in place.
In March 2015, the City of Victoria purchased 812 Wharf Street from the Province of British Columbia for $7.98 million. The City of Victoria paid these funds from its Building and Infrastructure Reserve Fund and intends to pay back the money, with interest, over a 22-year period.
At the time of the purchase, the City of Victoria stated that this building produced $980,000 in annual revenue with annual expenses of $520,000.
The 1931 design incorporated an earlier one-story brick structure built on the site in 1911 by the City of Victoria, at a cost of $11,000, as a “public comfort.” When the Imperial Oil station opened in 1931 the Daily Colonist reported that “the city comfort station….has been taken over by [Imperial Oil] and improved. It will be maintained by [Imperial Oil] under an agreement with the city.”
The Daily Colonist also reported that the new Causeway Garage offered everything required for the “fueling, storage, washing, greasing and repairing of cars, also handling the Vancouver Island agency for Stromberg carburetors and Bendix brakes……The general repair section is located on the lower floor, reached by an easy grade ramp, wide enough to accommodate two cars abreast…” This “easy grade ramp” is still evident today.

While scanning the sky to chart a billion stars in our Milky Way galaxy, ESA’s Gaia satellite is also sensitive to celestial bodies closer to home, and regularly observes asteroids in our Solar System.
This view shows the orbits of more than 14 000 known asteroids (with the Sun at the centre of the image) based on information from Gaia’s second data release, which was made public in 2018.
The majority of asteroids depicted in this image, shown in bright red and orange hues, are main-belt asteroids, located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter; Trojan asteroids, found around the orbit of Jupiter, are shown in dark red.
In yellow, towards the image centre, are the orbits of several tens of near-Earth asteroids observed by Gaia: these are asteroids that come to within 1.3 astronomical units (AU) to the Sun at the closest approach along their orbit. The Earth circles the Sun at a distance of 1 AU (around 150 million km) so near-Earth asteroids have the potential to come into proximity with our planet.
Most asteroids that Gaia detects are already known, but every now and then, the asteroids seen by ESA's Milky Way surveyor do not match any existing observations. This is the case for the three orbits shown in grey in this view: these are Gaia’s first asteroid discoveries.
The three new asteroids were first spotted by Gaia in December 2018, and later confirmed by follow-up observations performed with the Haute-Provence Observatory in France, which enabled scientists to determine their orbits. Comparing these informations with existing observations indicated the objects had not been detected earlier.
While they are part of the main belt of asteroids, all three move around the Sun on orbits that have a greater tilt (15 degrees or more) with respect to the orbital plane of planets than most main-belt asteroids.
The population of such high-inclination asteroids is not as well studied as those with less tilted orbits, since most surveys tend to focus on the plane where the majority of asteroids reside. But Gaia can readily observe them as it scans the entire sky from its vantage point in space, so it is possible that the satellite will find more such objects in the future and contribute new information to study their properties.
Alongside the extensive processing and analysis of Gaia’s data in preparation for subsequent data releases, preliminary information about Gaia’s asteroid detections are regularly shared via an online alert system so that astronomers across the world can perform follow-up observations. To observe these asteroids, a 1-m or larger telescope is needed.
Once an asteroid detected by Gaia has been identified also in ground-based observations, the scientists in charge of the alert system analyse the data to determine the object’s orbit. In case the ground observations match the orbit based on Gaia’s data, they provide the information to the Minor Planet Center, which is the official worldwide organization collecting observational data for small Solar System bodies like asteroids and comets.
This process may lead to new discoveries, like the three asteroids with orbits depicted in this image, or to improvements in the determination of the orbits of known asteroids, which are sometimes very poorly known. So far, several tens of asteroids detected by Gaia have been observed from the ground in response to the alert system, all of them belonging to the main belt, but it is possible that also near-Earth asteroids will be spotted in the future.
A number of observatories across the world are already involved in these activities, including the Haute-Provence Observatory, Kyiv Comet station, Odessa-Mayaki, Terskol, C2PU at Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur and Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope Network. The more that join, the more we will learn about asteroids – known and new ones alike.

Aladin as-Sahabi runs its family hotel and Aladin Tours, an adjoining travel agency, with great care, offering newly renovated facilities at economical prices. No wonder it's the most popular hotel. The rooms are simple but very welcoming, the ensuite bathrooms are spotless, the breakfast is excellent and served on the terrace, and the staff is super friendly. The rooms on the upper floors, larger, are decorated in the local style. The roof is great for a drink or a snack, with great views of the West Bank and the Temple of Luxor, both lit up at night. The best economical option.
PS. Important tip.
They do not sell alcoholic drinks, but there is a hotel next door, called Lusanna Hotel which sells beers to foreigners. There is a refrigerator in the room. Did you understand my tip?

XS790 was delivered to the UK Royal Air Force in Jul-64 and served with the Queens Flight for 28 years until it was transferred to the Defence Research Agency in Oct-92. The DRA was renamed the Defence Evaluation & Research Agency in Apr-97. It was retired at Boscombe Down, Wiltshire, UK in 1997 and broken up in Nov-98.
The forward fuselage was preserved for the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection and may be seen at Old Sarum airfield (EGLS)

This white building on New Bridge Street was once London's Central News Agency. In September 1888, they received the "Dear Boss" letter which was the first usage of the name Jack the Ripper, & once that was published, the story blew up even more.
The letter was written by a journalist, & it led to so many more imitation letters which wasted police time & resources.

For the Asian Fantasy challenge, Memole Giha is embodying Jinlong; the Golden Dragon of ancient Chinese emperors. Jinlong is the guardian of power, nobility and wealth, as well as a symbol of luck and success. To represent this figure Memole Giha has adapted her shape making it slender like a snake. She is covered with carp scales, just as in representations of Jinlong in Chinese traditional art. She is protected by the metal armor that represents the impenetrable skin of the Golden Dragon. Her gleaming demon eyes and sharp claws complete her dragon anatomy. The final element of Memole’s ensemble is the helmet that represents the headdress that is vital for a dragon to ascend to heaven.
This is a small non-agency station near the sea. I love the strain station. I waited it for a long time.

Changing Images of Man is a 1974 report (revised in 1982) by the Stanford Research Institute (SRI International). This report can be summed up like this:

“We have met the enemy and he is us!” We must reform the way we conceptualize the nature of mankind. Indeed, the mind (and body) is a human biocomputer, with programs and coding that can be analyzed, hacked, and altered. Our concepts of free will, freedom, and consciousness must be cast off for man to attain a peaceful, rational, and humane society in the future.
Changing images of man has a double meaning: man’s image has changed throughout history, and man’s image can be changed (manipulated). If we apply this idea to the present, what would be man’s image? Today, man’s image is one of transition. Since we are in the digital age, man’s image would reflect the digital world. Man looks into his screen, and his screen reflects back his digital world. Man’s image is being tokenized into the digital world. His image is becoming digitalized. His image is going to transition into transhumanism (merging man with the digital world). So man’s future image will be one of transhumanism. He will be a techno-slave. Indeed, the image of man is currently being manipulated toward the goals of the elite.
This report warns that our society is heading towards friendly fascism. This form of fascism “will come under the slogans of democracy.” It will be a “techno-urban fascism,” a “friendly sort of totalitarianism.” This is what this friendly fascism will look like: they will use military surveillance technologies to aid the police; they will use behavior-changing drugs and indoctrination in schools; they will attempt to manage the news; they will use personality screening and maintain files on pre-delinquent children, via coordination with school administrations and local, state, and federal authorities; they will use interconnected computer systems to collect peoples personal data like: employment records, criminal records, tax status, credit, insurance, and information about education.
What is their solution to this friendly fascism? They want, instead, to introduce a friendly fascism that has a shiny spiritual veneer. They want man to “evolve” to a higher consciousness, a super consciousness, which lies at the boundary between the conscious and unconscious parts of the mind. This evolution of consciousness will be a personal, spiritual, social, and cultural evolution. They want people to tap into this consciousness through their dream states. They want them to evolve into a hivemind, where they can telepathically communicate with one another. This could possibly be achieved through mystical experiences, psychic phenomena, esoteric ideas, occult practices, hypnotism, self-hypnotism, meditation, yoga, psychotherapy, psychology, psychochemical drugs, electrocranial stimulation, and cybernetics. “I think that cybernetics is the biggest bite out of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge that mankind has taken in the last 2000 years.”
This evolved man will see the inequality of the poorer nations. He will willingly give up his comfortable lifestyle. He will lower his living standards. He will share his wealth with the rest of the world. Men will collectively work together to accomplish equality (communism). And if they refuse to give up their wealth, they will be forced to give it up. This evolution is Gnostic in nature; it reminds me of Karl Marx, with his idea of man evolving into the socialist man/communist man. Out of this evolution will come a new system, a “new socialism,” which will be influenced by Freemasonry. “In ‘true Freemasonry’ there is one lodge, the universe-and one brotherhood, everything that exists. Each person has the ‘privilege of labor,’ of joining with the ‘Great Architect’ in building more noble structures and thus serving in the divine plan.”
The architects of this scheme must convince the masses that the earth has limited resources, which they term the “new scarcity.” They must convince the people that the earth is being overpopulated (today, climate change is the big scare they are pushing). With these supposed problems, man must be convinced that he needs to collectively band together. The architects of this scam must bring in a new economic and ecological system (known today as stakeholder capitalism and the green economy). To introduce this alternative way of life, they will introduce “behavior controls that would deprive the individual of freedoms” (which is known today as a social credit score system).

“A crisis is often the catalyst for the redrawing of one’s preferred map.” A “crisis-oriented transformation” is likely to transform a culture rapidly. We saw some of this during COVID, which greatly affected our society and economy. People accepted a soft form of authoritarianism and the loss of freedoms. During COVID, they pushed vaccine passports. This mimicked Digital IDs. The unvaccinated could not go to certain places, because they didn’t have vaccine passports. The Canadian truckers had their bank accounts frozen. Those with alternative views were censored. These things mimicked a social credit score system with rewards and punishments. Society failed to think critically, thus proving that it was ready for the next step of the plan. Therefore, politicians touted the start of the Great Reset—a plan to build back better. So now we are in a transition period, a transition into a new economic order. As a result, we are being steered towards a major economic crisis. This “crisis-oriented transformation” will bring us into their new system. This system will use digital biometric IDs, CBDCs, and social credit scores.
The elites see multinational corporations as the “most effective mechanisms for husbanding the earth’s resources and optimizing their use for human benefit.” Giving multinational corporations the earth’s resources will supposedly lead to an “equitable sharing of the earth’s resources.” They will pressure corporations to help with the social engineering of society. The methods they will use to get corporations on board resemble those of a corporate social credit score system like ESGs. They will prod corporations, particularly multinational corporations, to shift their goals to line up with those of the (hijacked) public institutions. Indeed, the public institutions will be tools of indoctrination (today, these institutions promote things like DEI). They plan to use “corporations, foundations, political agencies, and voluntary associations” to help with the implementation of their plans. Today, this is called public–private partnerships. They will use networks at the local, regional, national, and world levels. This way, it will be quicker and easier for them to implement their new world order goals. They expect rapid social change, economic decline, and social disruption as they implement their new technocratic socialist order.
“We would thus hope not for a handful, but for a thousand heroes, ten thousand heroes-who will create a future image of what humankind can be.” They need an army of social(ist) justice warriors to bring about change. “The needed transformation cannot occur without both personal and institutional change.” This correlates with the left’s “long march through the institutions.”
They also want to experiment with a variety of family structures. They want to turn the family into “an extended unit,” which will provide “a larger source of meaning and significance.” So basically, the collective (government, schools, neighbors, and society) will raise your children in this new collectivist utopia. This extended family will be a “source of education,” and “a unit for work.” They want to “foster a period of experimentation and tolerance for diverse alternatives, both in life styles and in social institutions.” They also want to use “new experimental curricula.” Today, we have new experimental curricula such as critical race theory and queer theory.
They want the world’s population to embrace this new order. Their end goal is the Brave New World. In reality, those who refuse this new order will live out 1984, and those who accept it will live out the Brave New World. Though, as they admit, no transition will go smoothly. Everyone is going to feel some pain, and in a worst-case scenario, a lot of pain.
The Bible warns us about the Antichrist. Those who refuse the Mark of the Beast won’t be able to buy or sell, and they will be tracked down by the authorities. These people will experience the hell of 1984. But those who take the Mark of the Beast will evolve into transhumans, and they will experience the bliss of the Brave New World. They will be on a high, stimulated by soma frequencies. Thus, they will blissfully worship the Beast. They will evolve to a super consciousness; they will become one with the Beast.
God created man with a soul and free will. Those who accept the Mark of the Beast will lose their free will, because technology will control their allegiance and love for the Beast. Their free will is gonna be controlled by the Beast system. Never again will they have the free will to repent and turn to Jesus Christ. They will give up their free will; they will forfeit their own souls.
Revelation 14:9-11 “A third angel followed the first two, declaring in a loud voice: ‘If anyone worships the Beast and his Image, and takes the Mark on his forehead or his hand, that person will also drink of the wine of God’s anger that has been mixed undiluted in the cup of His wrath, and he will be tortured with fire and sulfur in front of the holy angels and in front of the Lamb. And the smoke from their torture will go up forever and ever, and those who worship the Beast and his Image will have no rest day or night, along with anyone who receives the Mark of his name.’”

In this photo, the Space Shuttle Atlantis blazes through the night sky to begin the STS-86 mission, slated to be the seventh of nine planned dockings of the Space Shuttle with the Russian Space Station Mir. Liftoff on September 25 from Launch Pad 39A was at 10:34 p.m. EDT, within seconds of the preferred time, during a six minute, 45 second launch window. The 10 day flight included the transfer of the sixth U.S. astronaut to live and work aboard the Mir. After the docking, STS-86 Mission Specialist David A. Wolf became a member of the Mir 24 crew, replacing astronaut C. Michael Foale, who returned to Earth aboard Atlantis with the remainder of the STS-86 crew. Foale had been on the Russian Space Station since mid May. Wolf was scheduled to remain there about four months. Besides Wolf (embarking to Mir) and Foale (returning), the STS-86 crew included Commander James D. Wetherbee, Pilot Michael J. Bloomfield, and Mission Specialists Wendy B. Lawrence, Scott E. Parazynski, Vladimir Georgievich Titov of the Russian Space Agency, and Jean-Loup J.M. Chretien of the French Space Agency, CNES. Other primary objectives of the mission were a spacewalk by Parazynski and Titov, and the exchange of about 3.5 tons of science/logistical equipment and supplies between Atlantis and the Mir.
