With the usual London garbage overflow ...
Liked the graphics and colours on this advertisement. The placement of the bike and garbage were a bonus ...
I have for some time noticed a softness in the focusing on my Nikon D7100 on landscape shots but only noticeable on the left hand side. It's not there on portrait shots. Has anyone else had this problem? How was it fixed? May have to return the camera for repair ...
Another one from the archives taken inside the Tokyo metro on January 1st, 2010 - quite some time ago already ;- o
From a gracious and good flickr friend, I was the grateful recipient of several vintage car posters. Not knowing whether this “good friend” wishes to be identified or remain an anonymous benefactor, I will allow this person to decide whether or not he wishes to be known. I am, however, extremely grateful………which I’m sure this individual is aware.
I am just now in a position to begin the process of digitalizing these lovely vintage poster - a somewhat daunting task in that I do not have the physical resources (easel, studio lighting, etc) with which to do proper justice to these fine prints. Fact is I mounted a piece of foamboard on the outside of my garage door and have been using double sided, low tack, mounting tape to position the posters onto the foamboard. Obviously not the ideal way to photograph prints……… If anyone wishes to offer me some suggestions (without having to go out and buy hundreds of dollars of equipment), I would welcome your ideas. No, I don’t have a large, high-quality scanner.
Hope you’all enjoy (as much as I have enjoyed) …………

F.W.Woolworth Co. 5 and !0 cent store. If you remember these, you are probably old. :)
I love finding these old faded advertisements on buildings. Just a little reminder of days gone by.
I've added a wonderful song by Nancy Griffith about Woolworths for your listening pleasure.
Definitely worth viewing on black
I took the title from this 1937 Pullman poster.
This 1912 Pullman private car was custom-built in Chicago for Clara Baldwin Stocker, the eldest daughter of Elias “Lucky” Baldwin (link). It has been completely restored to its 1912 condition, and is on display at The Nethercutt Collection (link) in Sylmar, CA. Two great things about The Nethercutt Collection: 1. It has hundreds of beautifully restored antique and classic cars, musical instruments, this Pullman car, and a 1937 Canadian Royal locomotive. 2. Entrance is 100% free.
If you're in the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley area, it's definitely worth a visit.

In late 2013 and early 2014, I worked for an advertising company, designing some models on request for a local bank advertisements.
In particular, this first work was made in collaboration with Roberto Gretter, who designed the house. I designed the men, trying to achieve a result as close as possible as their idea, shown on the left (trying not to judge their taste...). The advertisement was released in early 2014, and then a few other designs followed (as this squirrel with acorns), but they were never released as our collaboration with this company stopped.
