I'm really enjoying this process. This is the handle hinge of a blue transparent plastic bucket (i.e. the entire bucket is made from blue transparent plastic, including the handle). I used lights inside and outside the bucket, to create shadows, etc. HMM 😀
Redux 2020 - December 28
This, I realise (and it did not happen intentionally) embodies two 2020 Macro Mondays themes.

Yes, I was slicing bananas. Since 1997 I have enjoyed a Banana high-protein shake for breakfast. We go through a lot of bananas and it has got to the stage where, these days, I buy 30 bananas at a time. I then peel, slice and free-flow freeze them and we use a handful of the frozen slices each day. It's a delicious breakfast.
Start with a piece of folded paper, bring in a light to create shadows and shapes, then take the shot. Pepper with Photoshop and Topaz Studio presets and.............voila!!
Oh yes, I love my Olympus Tough TG6, so much so I have three of them. They're absolutely magic cameras. I bought the first one for macro photography and have never looked back. I take one (or two) wherever I go. They stack images for amazing macros, they are completely waterproof for underwater photography, and they take great landscape photos. What a clever little camera. I just love it.
Oh, and I took this photo with one of my other TG 6's. Cute.

Every morning, since 1997, I have enjoyed fresh vegetable juice for breakfast. It involves carrots, beetroot and celery and makes for a delicious and colourful drink. I love it.

Pentax WG-3 GPS in landscape mode. I don't think it coped too badly in the conditions. The screen was another matter, however. It was almost impossible to see in bright light. I would not want to be using it halfway up a mountain.
