Dobie and I decided to go on a skateboarding adventure in the forest this evening, and we had a grand time wandering about, so much so that we completely lost track of the time. It seemed quicker than two shakes of a raven's tailfeather that dusk was upon us, and we had scampered so far into the woods that we were lost. Getting lost is a recurring theme for me, and yes, it happens in all lives: I have a really bad sense of direction. And on top of that, in SL, I have exceptionally poor navigational skills! So, full disclosure, I didn't actually do any skateboarding. And honestly, the terrain was not really ideal for it even if I was a super skater guru!

Fortunately for us, we happened upon this adorable and very friendly crow, and he kindly told us that we were going in the wrong direction (big surprise, right?!) and set us on the right path. Soon enough we were home again with another adventure to add to our memory album!

... and unique among so many beauties. That's what I thought, when I saw you for the first time my little juvel of spring. I immediately fell in love with you, my splendid pink flower. It was love at first sight. You have come to please me. I did not have to do anything for it. Just accept the gift and marvel at the beauty of nature. Every year, I am presented with so many new wonders of creation. Spring is like a new life, full of colors and vitality. Die Blaue Ägyptische Seerose Nymphaea caerulea, auch Blauer Lotus, Ägyptischer Lotus oder Blaue Wasserlilie genannt, ist eine tropische Schwimmblattpflanze aus der Familie der Seerosengewächse.

Sie ist aber nicht auf Ägypten beschränkt, sondern im tropischen Afrika weit verbreitet. Sie kommt auch in Vorderasien, vor allem im Jemen, früher auch in Israel vor. In Südamerika wurde diese Blaue Seerose eingebürgert. Sie siedelt am Rand langsam fließender Flüsse und in den seichten Zonen stehender Gewässer.

The blue Egyptian water lily Nymphaea caerulea, also called blue lotus, Egyptian lotus or blue water lily, is a tropical floating leaf plant from the family of the lily family.

However, it is not limited to Egypt, but is widespread in tropical Africa. It also occurs in the Near East, especially in Yemen, and earlier also in Israel. This blue water lily was naturalized in South America. It settles on the edge of slowly flowing rivers and in the shallow zones of standing water.
