I was laying in front of the fire, reached out and grabbed my camera and a new obsession was born. I took over 700 photos - fear not - I will not post them all! You should try it - it is amazing what you find :)) or who will come to visit :))

An addictive knit! I started off knitting this in natural undyed sock yarn, and charcoal sock yarn but didn't like the end result so threw the whole thing into a grape-purple dye bath. It matches my glasses now, so I feel all co-ordinated like when I wear it. Heh.

Condor watching was addictive behavior. This bird came over the ridge and blended into the hillside for a bit until we picked it up right behind our lodge. I was hoping that this might be one of those videos within a video where you see a crime being committed through the window of the Hosteria, but pretty bland activity there. Back to Condor watching. The red is gone! I shot this through the porthole of a semi-submersible on Agincourt Reef. The affect of the water filtering out the red end of the spectrum was amazing. I'd been down to around five metres in a helmet and spent some time with the fishes. I can see how diving becomes addictive. The pressure was surprising for someone who'd never been that far underwater. Would I do it again? You bet!
