EXFF-Award April-Mai

It is actually trotting through the water and just at this moment it had all 4 feet on the ground

Image taken from Bukit Timah Old Railway Bridge in Singapore ,

Somebody were making action shots with a skateboard. There was another camera to the left.

I got worried because the guy landed on his back every time

A shot from the Ram Rodeo this past weekend in Orangeville.

Thank you everyone for your visit, favorites and comments.

I'm a bit late with this one! A pretty lovely morning in the Dee Valley above Llangollen. Not the shot I came for, but I quite like it 😊

I do really enjoy exploring the Dee Valley, so many unexpectedly wonderful views.

Happy TmT.

Ich konnte es nicht glauben, mehrfach sprang er über das Eis und rutschte ordentlich hin und her... Das nutzte ich um einige Actionbilder zu machen....

Heute bei Regen und Sturm.

These swallows were flying around the field and at this point, it appears that their is some strong attention aimed at the female.

This was more of an experiment than anything. I am only a hobby photographer, my real job is an Engineer for the railroad. The wind was blowing these like crazy and I was seeing if I could freeze the motion and get a somewhat sharp usable image.

Coastal reflections, bubbly water, recurring patterns and hues of blue form an action of the sea that fascinates me.

This was taken from my seat at the Open-Air Theatre in Regent's Park, London when we visited recently. They do a different musical each summer and when we lived in London we would go every year. This year's musical was La Cage Aux Folles, a favourite of ours. We enjoyed it so much. It was adapted as an American film in 1996 called The Birdcage starring, amongst others, the much missed Robin Williams

Filou does the only sensible thing at the moment and stays active ! Outside it is damp and cold and in the house the heating didn't work for two days. The problem seems to be fixed now but the house still feels icy. I have a cold now and the cats are nervous wrecks because of the strange intruders in their home who made a lot of noise. We will all need the weekend to recover.

Here's one from the summer... I found it surprisingly difficult to photograph a squirrel running... they're so fast! I sat for ages, waiting, with peanuts as bait ;-)

Fjallabak Nature Reserve ( Iceland's southern Highlands) 20210717

Founded in 1979, the Fjallabak Nature Reserve is considered one of the most beautiful regions in Iceland. Covering an area of 450 km², it is made up of three glaciers supplying a multitude of rivers and lakes in ancient volcanic valleys. The landscapes of the Fjallabak Nature Reserve are provided with a prodigious mineral environment, generated by the simultaneous action of fire, water and ice. They are more broadly part of the Highlands of Iceland, a huge wild, and sparsely populated region. It is through its situation on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet, that the intense volcanic activity of the archipelago has its origin. This has shaped Icelandic landscapes for 150 million years and the plates continue to deviate by some 3 mm per year.
