Acrylique sur toile (16 x 24 po) inspirée d’une photo prise en Islande par Rachel.
La Jökulsárlón, toponyme islandais signifiant littéralement en français « lagune du glacier », est le plus connu et le plus grand des lacs proglaciaires d'Islande. Il se trouve au sud du glacier Vatnajökull entre le parc national du Vatnajökull et la ville de Höfn. Apparu entre 1934 et 1935, sa superficie est d'environ 18 km2 actuellement. Depuis 2009, ce lac est considéré comme le lac le plus profond d'Islande avec une profondeur maximale de 284 mètres.
Des blocs de glace se détachent du front du glacier Vatnajökull et dérivent plusieurs années sur le lac, puis rejoignent la mer. Les couleurs de ces petits icebergs vont du turquoise au bleu foncé, en passant par le jaune qui vient du sulfure volcanique, le noir qui vient de la cendre des volcans et le blanc en plusieurs nuances.
Ce lac a été le cadre de deux films de la série James Bond (Dangereusement vôtre et Meurs un autre jour) ainsi que d'un Batman (Batman Begins). Il a servi au décor du village de Sibérie dans le film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

我曾经在布里斯班帮朋友照料一个中医门诊。门诊新开张，生意冷清。很多时间，我就是坐在屋子里看书，发呆，或者摆弄手机消磨时光。门诊在一栋商业楼的二层，隔壁是一家房地产公司。那家公司倒异常红火，每天客人不断。公司里的一个小姑娘有很多电话。每当电话打来时，她就边接边跑出来，站到楼道的尽头通话。那个位置就在我的诊室的门口。我坐在空空的诊室里，听着女孩子打电话。她的声音很别致，有一种特殊的吸引力。我在听时便不知不觉渐渐陷入一种迷离的境地，迷迷糊糊的想象着我是一位阿拉伯的苏丹，从世界各地找来有着最动听的声音的女人。每天夜晚，当太阳早已落到地平线下，月亮升起在了两河的上空，我就躺进我的豪华寝宫里那张用紫檀香木、象牙、孔雀彩色闪光的羽毛和许多宝石做成的无比宽敞的床上，放下白色的纱幔，在宫殿的四周挂起装满红色和绿色萤火虫的灯笼，在闪闪烁烁的荧光中，那些有着奇妙声音的女人们就走进了我的寝宫，赤脚踏过我的地上撒落的玫瑰花瓣和蓝色勿忘我的花蕾，一直走到我的床头，在我脚边的纱帐外背对着我坐下，开始说起话来，给某人打电话，或者相互间聊天，讲故事，扯些闲散的话题。而我躺在纱帐里一动不动，闭着眼听她们的声音，我似乎能闻到她们身上飘来的香气。听不清她们在讲些什么，但我能听清她们的好听的声音。每个夜晚都会有不同的女人坐在我的床边，她们有着相似的背影，但每个人的声音都不同，但都一样的好听，迷惑着我。我就这样，在一个个夜晚，在她们的声音和模糊的背影中睡去。然后，梦见我坐在一间陌生城市的空荡的屋子里，听着一个有着好听声音的女孩子在打电话，门口偶尔会晃过一下她的背影。后来，那生意支撑不下去了，朋友关闭了门诊，我也离开了布里斯班。在离开时，隔壁的房地产公司的生意似乎更加红火了。他们都说布里斯班正在经历一个房地产的黄金时期。而我在离开布里斯班之后的很长一段时间里，仍然做着那个关于声音、夜晚、女人的背影和阿拉伯苏丹的美梦。直到再后来，才把它们都渐渐地忘记了。
