This is an in camera abstract of Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) in Kyoto, Japan, seen though a stand of bamboo from a hillside behind the temple. The gold colour is the temple, the red comes from a Japanese maple turned red in the fall and the green comes from the cypress trees. The image was made by panning the camera up at a slow shutter speed.

A peaceful place at the Havel close to Berlin minutes after the sun vanished beyond the horizon. I used a 100x ND-Filter to get a really long shutter speed. I wanted the structures to become so blurry that it almost looks like a painting.
