'For I do not exist: there exist but the thousands of mirrors that reflect me. With every acquaintance I make, the population of phantoms resembling me increases. Somewhere they live, somewhere they multiply. I alone do not exist.' Vladimir Nabokov

Abstract Experiments in Photoshop
This is just a montage of images put together just to see how they came out, using Photoshop filters. Abstracts, shadows, lights and shapes in a square format. I take this opportunity to thank all those Flickr people who inspired me with their work and taught me to look at things in a completely new way. This is the third posting of the series.
“When it snows, you have two choices: shovel or make snow angels.”

Another example of nature's abstract art in miniature
View in lightbox, on full screen and from a distance for a 3D effect.
A very close-up view of a rainbow plant flower cluster (from the inside looking out) showing its satellite-road-map-looking structure with light mauve smoke clouds in the distance.
From a certain distance, they look very much like colourful, three-dimensional cobwebs and, when viewed from a greater distance, look more like smoke clouds (see note) which could be why these shrubs are often referred to as smoke bushes. The botanical name, by the way, is "Cotinus coggygria". This particular variety is known as ‘Royal Purple’.
Take care and many thanks for calling,
