The cover of Guillaume Apollinaire's 'Calligrammes', which I used for Macro Mondays 'printed word' challenge, became my starting point for a Monday morning abstract.

Abstract for Macro Monday Week's theme

Old rusting car patina.

Hobart

Abstract detail of two neighbouring buildings in the City of London, also known as The Square Mile.

Juicer illuminated by strobe and RGB light.

Unfortunately, the sky was changing too fast for me to get a wide angle lens on, so had to shoot with what I had. It means that there is no context... But, may be that's a good thing.

VERY Mixed Media

an abstract portrait of reflections on a lake. Single exposure and minor edit. By Kai Hornung

Who doesn't love a trip to the seaside and a carefree wander along shimmering sands? OK these sands weren't shimmering but who doesn't lose their thoughts on breaking waves, coming away afterwards with freshly flushed lungs and a peaceful mind?

If I'm not building a castle I love looking for pictures in the sand and rocks conceiving art and pictures in swirls in the sand, twists in the seaweed and shapes in the seashells. Perhaps I just go weird on a beach but here are some examples I framed in my mind and captured as art for the wall.

Thank you very much for your comments and faves, regretfully, I am finding it increasingly difficult to reply to your comments, because of my very limited time on the internet, due to constant power interruptions in South Africa. I do read and appreciate every one of them, however! Thanks again!!
